Get Those Hands Dirty!

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you." John 15:1-3

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you." John 15:5-9

"He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him." Daniel 2:21-22

"He also said, 'This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain, first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.'" Mark 4:26-29

While flying into the great State of Texas, the Spirit of the Lord began saturating my being with His awesome Presence. I could sense a prophetic shifting in the Heavenlies. The atmosphere was charged. Suddenly, a gentleman to my left was adoring extremely yellow Glory Dust! God clearly spoke again, about Hollywood becoming Holywood. This time He accorded a little revelation that has been delivered to its rightful recipient..."Watch Julia Roberts...the actress! I have anointed her with favor, compassion and a calling. She will rise as an industry giant to glorify the One Who fashioned her in mother's womb!"

I often contemplate that grace-filled day when a precious woman who had been caught in an adulterous lifestyle, stood before accusers and potential executioners. Her past was without defense. Poised to proceed with the casting of many stones, the gathering was clearly oblivious to their own personal iniquities and shortcomings. Compassion from their end did not exist. However, that scenario was not without Heaven's Representation. Love Personified eagerly stooped down and got His hands dirty, in an effort to benefit humanity. Jesus is like that. No matter where sin or its byproducts are present, He's also there in grace-abounding fashion, redeeming that which was originally forfeited in the fall, restoring us to full identity in Christ.

Isn't that precisely what our walk is all about...restoration and reconciliation? Are we, indeed, willing to venture into the darkest regions of this planet, becoming all things to all people, dirtying our hands, declaring, "I am present for a single purpose...conduiting Heaven's Glory, while setting at liberty those who have been bruised of the enemy?"

It amazing! When challenged, not one single individual cast a projectile. Three major reasons for their lack of negative response boldly stand out. First of all, the Master was obediently representing Papa's heart and mindset as the Great Lover of souls. Secondly, Jesus operated powerfully under the anointing when issuing His challenging statement. Thirdly, without question, the Holy Spirit confirmed the Word emanating from the Son's lips, by way of convicting each hearer. One stone would have accomplished Satan's plan. Nevertheless, no one yielded to the darkness of that hour.

Such will be the case with us, when love and compassion rule within the Anointing. You see, all flesh must appropriately yield to the very Force that originally created it. Every knee bows, as faith filled words dominate the law of sin and death. Love buries a multitude of wrongdoing, refuses a contrary report, invigorates faith and never fails. As for me, I have rendered a quality decision from whence there's no return, to position myself in a place where failure is impossible. That requires a Jesus vote every time we're tempted to become self-righteous and judgmental. Overcoming evil with good is the name of our game!

Let's observe another component of the Sent One's behavior on that day. With stooped body and extended finger, He wrote in the soil. Who knows what was inscribed! Perhaps the Son desired to simply touch the substance from which we were fashioned in the beginning, pondering that day when His precious Blood would connect with planet earth, placing a redemptive burden on the ground. What might that demand be? Eradication of sin and its consequences (fruit) through the obedient Believer is the answer, a willingness in us to venture forth and reach into the darkest regions of this globe, while plundering hell and populating Heaven through mighty exploits and greater works.

What does it mean to get one's hand dirty? That answer has many facets, from entering into the sufferings of another, listening, understanding, refusing to criticize, ridicule or condemn, to literally raising the dead. We are to be cognizant of our own filthiness outside of Christ's finished work. Just as natural medication refuses discrimination, the Church is to do likewise, separating sin from its victim, loving and restoring the latter with God's Good News! Beyond all that, since you and I were made from dust and later empowered to undo the enemy's works, being lead of the Spirit is paramount. He will take us to the poor, sick, dying and deceased where, once more, evil overcomes good by connecting with the dirt...from fevered brow to that lifeless form in a casket. Touching dirt is what real living is all about!

Here's another fact about soil. Without it, there can be no food. Most of us disdain dirt, doing all possible to keep it from bodies, clothing, homes and other surrounding surfaces. But, what do we do? The gardener will take a silly looking particle (seed) and stick the kernel into that not too popular substance. The end result is germination, growth and abundant life...fruit!

The Son was Daddy's sown seed. At the end of Jesus' earthly journey, He, too, was planted a second time, in a cold, unimpressive tomb. But since life resides within the seed, three days later, Resurrection came out of those confines to save this world with the most comprehensive salvation to the uttermost anyone could possibly imagine! And nothing has changed today. He seeks neither golden nor silver Vessels, but yielded Containers, through whom Heaven's manifestations can freely flow!

The Magic Touch!

"Precious Child, even though you are not of this world, Father has chosen to send His Best, once again, into a dark realm, lacking hope and vision, just as Jesus, Heaven's Jewel, a sown Seed of healing and deliverance, God's counter move to Satan's initial play at eternity's chessboard, was commissioned to enter a foreign land. From Him was birthed an unstoppable Army of fully equipped Soldiers. The same Resurrection Power of the original Seed can be found in the Sent Ones...bone of bone, flesh of flesh. Truly, the Life of the Vine (Christ) flows through the Branches...the Body. Reflect on the Master's mindset and ministry, His last statement to the Church, that promise of those greater works. Compassion was the common denominator of each accomplishment. It was clearly His alarm clock in the morning, motivating all utterances and associated actions. Not a single miracle (act) in the Word was deplete of that unconditional love. Beloved, the hour has come when I am calling My Children to play in the dirt, make mud pies and perform unprecedented acts that will eradicate tears and place smiles on a multitude of faces. In the beginning, Papa reached down and dirtied His hands in the creative process of man. Jesus did likewise on several occasions, making clay of the spittle and running His hand through that soil. Are you ready for another revelation? As the Yielded One connected with dirt in the presence of that harlot's accusers, He reflected on the day when humanity was formed in the Garden, fashioned in the express likeness and image of Father, that moment when high treason brought forth the curse, what had to be done in reversing hell's death-promoting law. Calvary's price then became quite real. 'Innocent!' was His declaration. 'Neither do I condemn thee!' The message of the Gospel can be discovered in that very pronouncement. The authority and Unction you've been granted will be fully sufficient in undoing all undertakings of the enemy. Compassion will not permit judgment. Neither can it embrace formerly overused excuses for failing to work the works. Prepare to be sent into realms of gross darkness, from graveyards and funeral homes, to streets riddled with armed gangs. Glory's sweet smelling savour will precede you. Presence before Person is to be the norm as a peace and calm previously unknown to humanity, emanate from every fiber of your being. A Throne Room atmosphere must accompany the Obedient. Atoms and molecules will purr when that prospered arm is extended. Disease germs will literally die before you, not to mention the associated conviction that will trigger spontaneous healings and resurrections. Pages in the Lamb's Book of Life will excitedly flip without ceasing, facilitating the addition of name after name. The fields are white unto harvest. They're coming in! Listen attentively to Dad's command. Fear not! The Glory protects, guides and provides! Some have been concerned about limitations of flesh and finances. You are about to receive a new wine skin...health and wealth. Covenant is being unveiled before scores that have walked far beneath their rights and privileges in the Kingdom. By taking care of My business, provision in everything pertaining to life and godliness will be yours. Jesus neither lacked nor was sick. Even His disciples recognized that.
