You Shall See My Glory!
"And when the Day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord,
in one place. And suddenly, there came a sound from Heaven, as of a mighty
rushing wind, and it filled the house where they were sitting. And there
appeared unto them cloven tongues, like of as fire, and it sat on each of
them." Acts 2:1-3
Where can one go to escape his marvelous Presence? Who would ever really want
to? As ET had an insatiable yearning to "phone home," such is the case with
the believer who has true intimacy with the Heavenly Father. There is really
nothing on this planet, for which to live, but a golden opportunity to boldly
enter that Throne Room, climb into Daddy's lap, for the Creator's long,
sought-after love and revealed blueprint, a strategy to plunder hell and
populate Heaven, that City, paved with one of the most precious substances
known to man.
Most of us, if the truth be known, suffer from a profound love-deficit,
seeking to medicate our pain in unhealthy relationships, the bottle,
attention-seeking endeavors and compulsive behaviors. Nevertheless, there is
only One who can satisfy that intense longing for acceptance and nurturing,
a need, aptly compared to an itch that cannot be effectively satisfied. And
the Person, described here, is a very special Man, poised on His seat of
judgment, possessing a positive attitude and an exciting future, when it
comes to the kids, a Daddy who wants nothing more than a one-on-one with us!
What is God's mindset, concerning me, Paul? I am so pleased you asked that
question! "Ye are the righteousness of the Father (Me) in Christ Jesus!"
There is nothing any of us can do to foster more affection or esteem from
Him, even though multitudes have tried to impress the Father. For He sees the
Christian (Christ-like one) through the Blood of His Son! Some would say to
me, "Paul, you're a prophet, teacher, evangelist, with a signs and wonders
anointing!" Even though I may occasionally walk in those offices and be used
as a conduit of Daddy's love, that is not who I am. Paul is a son of the Most
High, before anything else. That is my true identity, one that will remain,
after all offices, administrations and gifts are no more.
How might I fully realize that unconditional love? Well, the Word is loaded
with relevant declarations. In addition, we are so dependent upon the Holy
Spirit, alone, to impart Dad's affirmations, validations, nature, essence,
unction, anointing and, in plain language, affection. His love has been shed
abroad, in that heart, by the Third Person of the Trinity. For me, that is
keenly felt in His Presence.
As I sit here, in Southern California, preparing to do business for the
Kingdom, it is early morning. The atmosphere seems supercharged with His
Glory. The breeze can be heard in the mulberry trees. There's an impression,
this servant could turn his head and spot Jesus, in an instant, smiling
approvingly. He is the Brother Paul has never had, in the natural, a friend
who would neither leave, nor forsake me, the lover of this man's soul, who
promised to remain closer than any human-being could possibly imagine, the
One who is there, after everyone else has left, understanding when many others
don't.
The spiritual air, in this complex, remains heavy, an invigorating heaviness,
though, much similar to the great miracle rallies, when the impossible
becomes possible, electrified with the Power Agent's sincere determination to
let us know that He's here. I wish so sincerely to share that with you!
Frequently, in those previously mentioned meetings, a Cloud of Glory can be
seen rolling in, usually from the auditorium's back, to the front, that
identical heaviness felt this moment, invariably translating into souls, new
births, committed to obey and serve Him, followed by those signs, wonders and
miracles.
Kathryn Kuhlman often exclaimed, "Take anything you want. But never permit
your Holy Spirit to depart from me!" Without Him, she would have done
nothing, been nothing.
He makes the mundane and usual, special and unusual, using the "foolish
things of the world to confound the wise." That is one of my greatest
qualifications for service...foolishness, a willingness to obey all nudgings
and promptings that line up with the Word, richly translating into
love-manifested exploits, performed in the Name of that Holy Child, Jesus.
Kathryn keenly knew the significance of the Holy Spirit, that One sent by the
Master, Himself, upon safe arrival, after taking His place at the right hand
of the Father, forever living to make intercession on our behalf. The Master
did not leave us without a revelator, comforter, empowerer or guide.
Ponder that Cloud, once more, physically revealed in those
services. As streams of living water flow from bowels of compassion, via
Christians surrendering all to Him, paying that ultimate price of laying down
their lives for His purpose and plan, more clouds...manifestations will be
encouraged and produced, to a level where this world will be "full of the
knowledge and Glory of the Father." Then, will Jesus come, not by way of
white pillows in the sky, but that life-producing Cloud of His Presence,
originating in us, configuring in the believer, as a direct result of His
condensation of love, praise, intercession and obedience...rivers, again, of
living water, flowing from that temple, or yielded spirit. All creation
awaits that promised manifestation!
Paul Cain is among the most anointed of God's prophets in this day. He is
like a spiritual daddy and mentor to this writer. Paul has had a repeated
vision, which is soon to completely unfold. When this revelation was first
reported, no Promise Keepers', stadium-filled, events had ever transpired.
However, what we have seen with that blessed movement is only a foretaste of
His ultimate plan, one which will include men, women and children combined,
the saved, along with the unsaved, as that Cloud continues to increase in
size and potency. Currently, it remains the size of a man's hand. But, that
is about to change!
Brother Cain has had several specific burdens and prophetic expectations for
the Body of Christ. He has been recipient of reoccurring revelations,
relative to the end of the Church Age, which is rapidly approaching. About
thirty years ago, the Lord gave him a vision that has been repeated more than
one-hundred times, and still surfaces, to this day. Let's contemplate that
word:
It is a revealing of the last days, when sports stadiums, all over the United
States, are filled with thousands of people. In this vision, people are being
healed, and miracles are happening to thousands, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
People are turning to the Lord in droves, and the whole nation is in revival.
It seemed the entire world were turning to Him.
Television news reporters are broadcasting stories of resurrections and
miracle healings. None of the secular reporters could get near those on the
platform. In fact, they didn't know who the workers were. Paul described them
as "almost faceless men." He hears a television anchorman saying, "There are
no sporting events to report, tonight, because all the arenas, ball parks and
stadiums are being used for large revival meetings, and are filled with souls
crying, Jesus is Lord! Jesus is Lord!"
In those visions, Paul saw individuals ministering for three days and nights,
without food, water, or a change of clothing. Supernatural strength enabled
them to continue for long periods. The prophet is standing at the crossroads
of life, in that unveiling, and sees a billboard that says, "Joel's Army, Now
In Training!" Scores are being trained to walk in obedience to Jesus. They
have learned patience and endurance, possess the power of God and, having
done all, know how to stand against the enemy.
"They will have the mind of Christ," Paul shares, "partaking in that Heavenly
calling...a new breed, God's champions." Those ministries will be filled with
such passion for Christ and the Power of the Spirit, the hosts of darkness
will dread their impact.
Paul went on to say, "In the midst of the Loadicean church-age of lethargy
and apathy, the Father was preparing, behind the scenes, an army to pull down
heavenly strongholds, and go forth in the power of God, with pure and
undefiled religion."
He is going to do this with a people who have stripped and separated
themselves from the world, flesh and devil. They will realize the end time is
upon us, and that things are in a mess, and different. Just as it required
total sacrifice on the part of the disciples, equal commitment will be
essential to complete the task. Joel's mighty army (Joel 2) is the army of
God, not a wicked force, as some may have thought, but the ones with "feet of
iron, not mixed with clay," with His wisdom, alone, not imitators of other
men. Some of the superstars of the Church will fall. The Lord will have an
army of holy, anointed vessels to usher in His Kingdom, so that no man can
take credit for it. That move will be to the Father's Glory.
Indeed, the Glory Cloud is forming!! There is coming a time, when that Law of
the Spirit of Life in Christ won't just radiate from Him, but us, as well, in
unprecedented fashion. It will burn within, and upon, every yielded vessel,
resulting in such power that the devil and all his hordes will be like ashes,
under the soles of our feet!
You see, the evil one has no clue, concerning the intensity of that
anointing, the fact it could reside in, and flow through, the flesh-and-blood
bodies of men, women and children. Yet, the Word says, that is what is going
to occur.
We've seen the beginning of this, on the Day of Pentecost. To appreciate the
impact of that day, forget those Sunday school renditions, depicting tiny
flames, hovering over the heads of disciples. Instead, receive the images
Daddy has described in Habakkuk 3:3-4, Ezekiel 1:1:28 and Malachi 4:1-3. You
need the images of God's Glory, as seen in His fire, light, clouds and
magnificent brightness.
Travel through those portions of Scripture. Think about God's blazing fire of
Glory, Ezekiel's description of that Presence, being a fire, from the loins
up and from the loins down. Then, you will realize what was experienced in
that upper room of Acts 2.
The Father, Himself, came in, just as He does in those awe-inspiring
services, with Clouds and other expressions of His arrival.
Everything was shaken, with such a sound of wind, that it resembled a freight
train, traveling through a tunnel. That happened to be the Glory, roaring in,
filling the whole room. Subsequently, a blazing fire appeared, and He sat on,
or enveloped, each disciple, one by one!
On that day, the Father was able to embrace His people. They were washed in
the Blood of the Lamb. Sin had been defeated at Calvary. Each was reborn and
made the righteousness of God in Christ. So, He could come to them, without a
covering. Dad was able to appear as His Glorious Self! The Creator of the
universe came on, and into, them.
Now, it's our time to walk in that Brightness, a radiating, fiery Power that
is so pure and full of the Presence of God, the devil cannot withstand it. We
are to walk in that light, as He is in the light, to stroll in the Glory, as
He is in the Glory (1 John 1:5-7). It is that hour for us to shine! We are
totally equipped, in the here and now. So, expand your capacity to conceive
and believe. Prepare for those Clouds, that Bright-Shining! And, you shall
see the Glory of God!
