From the Desk of Doctor Paul ..."Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, 'Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.' And God granted his request." 1 Chronicles 4:10
"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21
"You know what has happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached...how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and Power, and how he went about doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him." Acts 10:37-38

Who can really and truly fathom the love of God? We are His very reason for being. In plain terms, He exists for us. The Man literally obsesses over Heaven's Kids. Being the Creator of all that is, the Most High, and I say this prophetically, spends every earthly moment contemplating new ways to bless our socks off with goodness, mercy, compassion and the miraculous.
We are frequently told to live for God, place Him first in our lives, serve the One Who initially chose us. But contemplate this fact. The Father's mindset and posture toward men, women and children are exactly the same, in that we not only occupy His thoughts, but He has added us to the Family for eternity. Dad has big plans for those who are obedient unto the death of self, and set their hearts toward the Author and Finisher of faith.
God originally thought, spoke, created, meticulously framed the planets, balanced this universe and then made man in His very likeness and image, not to curse or hate, but to love and serve, as Royalty, withholding no good thing from the Bride.
Not long ago, on a popular talk show, featuring parents and children who seemingly despised each other, a Mom and her teenager began yelling back and forth. Neither was actively listening. You could almost see the erected wall between them growing thicker by the moment. Suddenly, the host of the program remarked, "Hey, wait a minute! Look into that girl's beautiful eyes, mother. Do you not see yourself?"
Wow! That blew me away. The berating and screaming instantly ceased, only to be replaced by a long-lasting tearful embrace. The audience wept, not to mention the host and others on the platform.
God is like that with us. Remember what's inscribed on many Christmas cards? It's a simple verse..."Peace on earth, goodwill toward men." Those words have softened the souls of multitudes. What they mean is..."Tell the world I'm not mad anymore, that I prophetically perceive each soul through the Blood of the Lamb and eyes of destiny."
Just this week, I was asked to write a brief response, concerning remarks made about the Father on the Web Site of an international singer. Basically, several people were giving Papa a bum wrap, implying how much He hates particular groups who are living in sin.
How can God disdain people for whom He sent His only begotten Son to not only save, but transform into His express image, from Glory to Glory, while granting those same recipients joint-heirship with Christ? The Lover invariably separates iniquity from the sinner, exactly as we would with a youth whose hand constantly found its way to the proverbial forbidden cookie jar. Let's avoid placing judgments and labels on humanity. Whatever proceeds from lips of the Redeemed should be easy on the hearer's ears and quicken one's spirit. If words leave another beat up and torn apart, they are not of God. Papa's peace will constantly be the deciding factor within hearts.
There is a vast difference between a person and his behavior. Sure, God chastens. However, look up the true definition of that word in both the Hebrew and Greek. A discovery will be made that chastening implies to "gently instruct, correct, as one would a child." Change can only arrive through yieldedness to the Holy Spirit, permitting Him to transform us into the image of Christ. The process never involves might or power.
Accurately, lovingly delivering and representing the Gospel of Jesus Christ melts the hardest of hearts. That two-edged sword will pierce through the most solid barriers. Don't go into the Great Physician's operating arena with a chain saw. Instead, utilize that fine surgical (laser-Light) instrument (Love) that extracts the bad and leaves behind the good! Build identity by calling those things which be not as though they were, until each becomes. The Spirit of Prophecy, Jesus, is in you to unveil the very hope of Heaven's Glory, God's blueprint.
Again, never will a soul be effectively won into the Kingdom through fear and condemnation. God personally tells us that love never fails. Additionally, faith works by love. So why not stick with a sure thing? The Bride is simply Heaven's Conduit of the Father's will...Love, Light and Life.
You are I are also not to be overcome by evil, but to overcome evil with good. Give that some thought. Even the Jabez prayer, which the Lord heard and answered, via the Covenant, says..."Keep me from evil that I may do no harm (1 Chronicles 4:10)." That's in full agreement with another Scripture, promising a position in Him, far from all oppression. Where might the Church go for that treat? The Secret Place of the Most High, under the shadow of the Almighty, is our destined location of fellowship, affection, revelation, empowerment and impartation of destiny. We are to dwell there ongoingly.
Let me say this about preaching the Gospel. There are many ways of doing it. Nevertheless, if faith, working in and through the Body of Christ, is triggered by love, and love never fails, then let's function in that realm. It is a certainty in getting the job done and never translates into harming others. Furthermore, don't argue when dealing with matters of the Spirit. God doesn't need a lawyer or vindicator. He handles that quite well for Himself, while watching over His Word to perform it.
The Christian is a reflection of what's actually going on in the Throne Room. Dad's thoughts are to become the Youngsters' next acts! Once more, our walk is about conduiting, representing the Sender as Ambassadors, Peacemakers, Restorers and Reconcilers. That's what's in the House, a tranquility and essence that venture beyond human understanding, reaching the unreachable, winning the previously unconvinced and healing the unhealable!
The Vision
A small table was positioned in the middle of a dark room. Two chairs faced each other. A Believer was seated at one end. Satan took his trespassing place at the other. The game was poker. Both players had several stacks of chips. The enemy's face was stone-cold and couldn't be read. It was clear that he was out to seemingly "clean the clock" of God's Child. As cards were dealt, the devil kept increasing his ante, which was consistently matched and raised by Glory's Child. This went on for awhile. The Christian's temporary intimidation could be discerned. A struggle was transpiring between the natural and supernatural...the human soul and Mind of Christ. At the speed of Light, the Word of the Lord unto came to me, saying..."Paul, the Accuser can never hold a winning hand. My Children always do, and don't ever enter a challenge to merely play and lose, but gain the opposer's spoils, acquire Holy Spirit boldness and possess the land. Your solitary fight one is of faith; and it's a good battle, comprised of resisting and standing, as I watch over My Word to manifest each jot and tittle. Victory has been previously secured. Sell out! Throw in all that you have...your chips, yes, even the widow's mite. The master of illusion is just that, a liar, trickster and thief, not knowing any form of truth. He has never secured a single lasting victory. Check that out in the Book. Since it (the truth) isn't in him, he literally trips over his own two feet, attempting to bully those ignorant of Covenant, the absolute Promise backed by Christ's Blood. Don't look at the defeated adversary, but affix your eyes on the Author and Finisher of that love-based faith. In so doing, you need not be defeated on a single score." Returning to the vision, I observed a Holy Spirit confidence, conviction, if you will, on the face of God's Redeemed. Anointed hands moved all that he had, every golden chip, into the pot. A look of despair swiftly surfaced on the loser's countenance, as he tossed his five cards onto the table. Each displayed a counterfeit zero. The game was over. Satan could no longer be seen, only the Winner! At that juncture, Glory fell in the form of streamers, confetti, gifts, fruit...the unparalleled, unprecedented and unpredictable, from what seemingly was the ceiling. But the original locale was Heaven. A celebration was about to begin. Rejoice, Beloved! We win!
