Heaven's Newness!
"Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, including all those
living in the cities...and also the vegetation in the land. But Lot's wife
looked back, and she became a pillar of salt." Genesis 19:25-26
"Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one
thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I
press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me
heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature should take such a view
of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make
clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained."
Philippians 3:13-16
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone,
the new has come!" 2 Corinthians 5:17
In the natural and spiritual realms, nothing ever remains the same. All
continues in constant motion, undergoing numerous changes and modes of
expression...a true Glory to Glory process. This is not unlike taking a
vacation away from your children, or visiting a loved one after not seeing
that individual for a period of time. At the reunification, people, really
and truly, do change and look different. Aging and growth are evident. Often,
we'll discover a new mindset. If a choice has been made to walk in the
Spirit, gifts and fruit may well have been added to their walk.
Hug a tree. Can its tangible expansion be experienced? The answer is
evident...probably not. Even if you never let go and held on for five years,
if still standing, your comment might likely be, "I didn't feel a thing!"
Nevertheless, by standing back and taking a second look, change would be
unquestionable. Growth has occurred.
You and I are sort of like that. From moment to moment, God's transformation
of the Believer isn't too noticeable. Yet, it is progressive. We are, if
willing and yielded, being changed into Jesus' express image by the Third
Person of the Trinity, and that directly translates into more truth and
effectiveness in, and for, the Kingdom. As He is, we have become in this
world, Living Epistles, Lively Stones, known and read by all humanity.
What are people to see in the Church, but the very faith of God, Himself.
They are to witness hope and unconditional love; signs, wonders, the
miraculous. A "full sufficiency" posture and heartfelt yearning must be
evident, in order to conduit Christ's law of the Spirit of life to a
suffering world, which hungers and thirsts for reality and satiation.
Pliability is key to growth and promotion. Physically speaking, if the skin,
bones and organs within your body refused to modify and expand, serious
difficulties would arise, causing a subsequent stifling and stunting of
Heaven's intent.
The Lord has fashioned us to cooperate with His marvelous plan of maturity in
all pertaining to life and godliness. When that veil in the Temple was torn
from the top to the bottom, God essentially said, "I will never again be
contained in any manner. Such is the case with My Children. Those slats have
been kicked from the box. The sky is literally the limit. My Family can have
what it says, and the gates of hell won't be able to prevail against the
spoken revelation."
Throughout the Word, we encounter a challenge from the Throne Room. The
Creator says, "Ask of Me!" What does that mean? A study of the Hebrew and
Greek reveals an incredible nugget of truth. Dad is instructing the Bride to
be Covenant-oriented, while boldly approaching the Throne of Grace with those
Blood-bought promises, demanding, yes, insisting upon, in the presence of
everything that is, including angels and demons, Her rights and privileges as
Joint-Heirs. This posture is far from being disrespectful, but, as with any
convinced and confident legal expert, it's an articulation of what that Blood
is freely and ongoingly declaring on the Mercy Seat.
Satan is no match for the Power behind that decree, which surely translates
into the Word becoming flesh and dwelling among men, women and children,
Believers and doubters alike. Once we accurately receive insight into
identity and authority, sin, sickness, poverty and death will swiftly reverse
their stand. The ground on which we walk will purr with contentment and be
called...Holy! All creation awaits a manifestation of the Sons and Daughters
of God. Explosions of Glory will be commonplace, as Love, Light and Life
overcome evil with good, undoing the devil's schemes.
Let's discuss promotion. We know that God's rewards don't come from the
North, East, South or West, but from the Throne Room. The Bible makes that
abundantly clear. Taking the high road, including passing those daily quizzes
and tests in this world, will prompt an opening of many doors, not to mention
Heaven's windows of blessings.
Don't obsess over advancement. That's an automatic. Take care of God's
business. Immerse yourself in the Word. In fact, specialize in practicing His
Presence and carrying out each nudging and prompting. He will perfect
everything that's of concern to you, while making the crooked places
straight, being a friend to your friends, an enemy to those enemies. Nothing
shall by any means hurt you!
The Holy Spirit has approached the platform. Let's give Him our full
attention!
The Eye Of Faith!
"Redeemed One, why did the Father place those eyes on the front of your head,
instead of on top, in the back, or underneath? Forward vision is the correct
response, since there's no future in the past. Destiny-orientation is another
reason. Perceiving through the eye of faith gains immediate attention and
reaction in the spirit realm. Knowing yourself and others, from the inside
out, is paramount in the handling of My Glory. You see, the old has passed
away, with all becoming new. This is not a juncture to rest on mistakes, or
even laurels, but an hour to lay aside all weights, as well as those sins
(sin-consciousness) that so easily keep you out of the Throne Room. When
missing the mark, and, for the record, everyone does, don't run from Me, but
bolt toward the Lover of lovers, a direction of wholeness. Is it not written,
'Where sin abounds, grace much more gains ascendency?' Heaven has no
problems, only answers, solutions and remedies...the good and perfect.
Neither does it contain shame, blame, rejection, abandonment or guilt. I have
never refused a single soul who has called upon that Name above all others.
Lot's wife looked back and was permanently affected by her choice. The lady
turned into a pillar of salt. Why did she make that fatal decision? The old
had no promise of Glory. Her past, including cares and the deceitfulness of
riches...the problem, actually, became perceptually greater than the Answer,
Glory's Promise. Again, had I wanted the woman to maintain her memory and
gaze into the past...that sin or even those successes, another set of eyes
would have been placed on the back of her head, while in the womb. Look at
your arms, hands and feet. Aren't they best designed for moving ahead, in
both present and future? Have you lately attempted to walk or run in reverse?
It's not easy, simply because I didn't create My Kids to operate and have
their being in reverse. What about an automobile's rearview mirror? The
device is strictly used to see where you've been, not where you're going. It
wasn't destined to be a windshield. Hear this well. I am about to do a new
thing! What once worked in the past, can have no significance or
effectiveness in the Great Wave that's poised to saturate this globe, every
atom and molecule. Creation will proclaim, 'The earth is full of the
knowledge of the Glory of God!' As surely as I live, the Name of Jesus will
not only rule and reign, but be championed as a household Word!"
