Man's Impossible...God's Possible!
"He replied, Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you
have faith (God's) as small as a mustard seed, you can say this to the
mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be
impossible for you." Matthew 17:20
"Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God
all things are possible.'" Matthew 19:26
"Preach the Word; be prepared (instant) in season and out of season; correct,
rebuke and encourage...with great patience and careful instruction."
2 Timothy 4:2
Some time ago, while traveling Maine's Interstate 95, a "news alert" over a
local radio station related a horrible mishap that had injured Actor
Christopher Reeve, resulting in a catastrophic spinal cord injury (falling
from a horse) and total paralysis. For the past seven years, the Superman
star has been immobile from the neck down, unable to feel or move anything.
Christopher had broken his neck, consequently damaging a thumb-sized bundle
of nerves that carries messages between the brain and rest of his body. At
least three-quarters of the associated fibers had been severed, and what
remained did not work. Since the accident, his muscles withered, bones
thinned, and he suffered severe bouts of infection and life-threatening
complications.
Needless to say, contemplating possible death, or, at very least, severe
limitations on his life, my spirit was deeply moved. The Lord began stirring
my heart. His Voice was clearly discernible. What He had to say would
definitively be important down the road. "Paul, turn this car around and find
someone who will enter agreement with you for a creative miracle in Chris'
situation."
As I obeyed that mandate, the Revelator accorded a vision of Christopher's
damaged column. God's hand was rerouting nerves and reconfiguring
neuropathways. The rest is history.
Against all odds, recent improvement has stunned specialists, who say it's
the first documented case of such progress over paralysis that has been
ongoing for such a lengthy period.
The first clear sign of change occurred when Reeve twitched his left index
finger. That movement was the beginning of a rebirth of sensation and control
that he says has changed his life. Christopher can now feel human touch,
experience pin pricks and pain, as well as flex his fingers!
Dad is richly moving in these days of the Spirit, and this is only the
beginning. Significant to the promised marvelous Outpouring are the full
obedience and yieldedness of the Church. Each Believer must be willing to
totally sell out, and follow the Author and Finisher of faith, not unlike
those days of Jesus' earthly ministry, when He presented opportunities to
"follow Me." Some did. Others didn't. The cares of this world and
deceitfulness of riches have held a number of people back. The Word says it
well. "Many are called, but few choose to go."
There's an urgent need for gapstanders and intercessors. Nothing attracts
Heaven's attention more quickly than pain...spiritual, emotional, physical or
situational. Glory is loaded with solutions and remedies. God has always
sought "a man" who would stand in the gap and make up that hedge of
protection for others.
When the Holy Spirit spoke to me about Christopher Reeve, there was, indeed,
a sense of urgency. I could do nothing but turn around and head for Augusta,
where another agreed with me in prayer, concerning both the quickened Word
and ultimate outcome in that man's life, even though years would pass before
evidence reached the sense realm.
Being instant in and out of season means just that. Leaning not unto natural
understanding is part of the process, since intellect, more often than not,
gets in the way of Heaven's directives. We are instructed to stand at the
table and be ready to follow God's Cloud. Additionally, on that journey, the
Christian is to salute no man along the way. There will be times when those
nudgings and promptings won't add up. They might appear costly. Perhaps,
others will deem your behavior foolish. The Master is no stranger to that
accusation, and still uses the foolish things (I qualify) of this world to
confound the wise. Nevertheless, a peace on the inside generates that
proverbial Green Light and says, "Do it!" A vote and action then become
necessary.
Planting in the spring requires little question or thought. That's what
people do, and it works. Sowing in the winter obviously doesn't make a whole
lot of sense. However, if the Lord tells you to stick a seed into the
impossible, do just that. At the other end of your obedient act will be
blessings, rewards, promotions and an unfathomable harvest, since the Lord of
outcome (harvest) eternally watches over His Word to perform it. No
revelation from Papa is void of the Power necessary to bring itself to pass.
Ponder life's blessings. Oh, how we tend to overlook them! Humanity has a
tendency to not appreciate, while taking so much for granted...people, places
and things. We've been conditioned to focus on the five percent that doesn't
seem to be going well, or that we're not in control of, rather than
championing the ninety-five percent that's fully on course. The Covenant
promises perfection in everything pertaining to life and godliness. Why
should anyone think and act outside of perfection?
Prepare For An Invasion Of Faith!
"Faithful Soldier, that which has come against you in life and ministry is
merely a smokescreen, sent to obscure vision and destiny. In reality, former
regions of weakness and attack are slated to be current and future
presentations of strength and anointing. Have I not instructed the weak to
proclaim strength? In quietness and confidence, the Holy Spirit imparts
revelation and empowerment. I AM the God of what man deems impossible.
Doesn't it stand to reason that the Creator of all that is can repair and
even create? The Author of Life can do anything. After all, even the dust had
to obey Me at the genesis of man. Understand, Joint-Heir, that creation
awaits a manifestation of the Sons and Daughters of God. Within each atom and
molecule is the Glory. Everything is upheld by the Word of that Power. The
Creator is in His creation, which has been programmed to hear and obey the
Voice of My Blood Contract. That you are! Again, natural man, educated in the
sense-realm, logic and steeped in tradition, frequently decides to wrestle
with flesh and blood, hoping that battles will be won on a horizontal,
external plain. He fails to realize that everything has its origin in the
unseen, that fifth dimension. Truly, real victories are gained and lost
there. This is the day of both the Word and signs and wonders, since the
latter confirms the former. Intimacy encourages and produces revelation, from
which incubation and manifestation follow and flow. The Church is to not say
what She has, but have what is said. Exactly as Jesus carried out Heaven's
will by remaining connected to the Throne Room, you, too, will enjoy even
greater works than these, as a hearing ear is inclined to the Holy Spirit.
Fear has no place in the Family's mindset. Faith-filled words dominate the
law of sin and death. That assuredly translates into calling those things
which be not as though they were, until each becomes. Don't permit
'impossible' to rule your life and restrict blessings, that which has been
purchased at the highest price. What is impossible with man, is possible,
plausible and pleasing to the God of surprises. Time has been accelerated.
Cooperate fully with the seasons. Be instant, while We turn this world upside
down with an experiential knowledge of the Glory!"
