THE FATHER STILL SPEAKS TO HIS CHILDREN!
How frequently have you prayed and failed to receive an answer? Without
question, it wasn't because God missed the mark! The Word says, "You ask and
receive not, because you ask amiss (James 4:3)." The believer needs wisdom to
petition in line with His perfect will. That means, we need the Lord's
thoughts about the situation, before an effective prayer can be uttered.
You may be crying out for healing, when a miracle is actually required. One
might be praying about finances, when, in actuality, he has a giving shortage.
The believer may really be causing the problem, without realizing it.
We need Daddy's wisdom! How do I get it?
Jesus shows us in Luke 11:49, by speaking..."Therefore, said the wisdom of
God..." Then, He began to quote Scripture. He called the written Word, the
very wisdom of the Father! So, God's wisdom is His Word!
Here is an established fact! One will never rise above the level of his/her
confession, which is derived from spending quality time in the Throne Room,
receiving, as well as embracing, wisdom and understanding.
So, let the Word of God, that wisdom, begin to influence your thinking. Allow
the mind to be saturated by its living essence. Dig into that which is
written. Commit those revelations to memory. Take the matter seriously.
Then, begin to pray in the Spirit. Let the Third Person of the Trinity
initiate a process of insight in your heart, as you intercede and worship.
Remember, "God inhabits (lives and takes up residency in) the praises of His
children!" If you want Him to arrive on the scene, begin praising. He'll
richly abide in that atmosphere of worship. After a while, you will start to
understand, and even perceive situations, in a different light....His!
You'll possess a whole new interpretation of the problem.
You may suddenly receive a rhema, a deep conviction, an inner knowing, even a
Gift of Faith! Someone may call on the telephone and say, "I just received a
word from the Lord, this morning. I'm so excited about it..." And what that
person says, is exactly what you need to hear.
However received, realize that wisdom is the principal thing. God's way of
thinking can save your life, pull you out of debt, establish that path of
prosperity. It will introduce you to possibilities, never yet been seen.
Those troubles will be no more!
