Practicing His Presence!
'"I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten...the great locust
and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm...my great army
that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and
you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for
you; never again will my people be shamed."' Joel 2:25-26
"Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who
justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died...more than that,
who was raised to life...is at the right hand of God and is also interceding
for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or
hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?" Romans
8:33-35
"It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us
wisdom from God...that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption."

One of the greatest revelations I've ever received arrived this week. It
certainly outshines words accorded me in the past, such as the Northridge
earthquake in Southern California, hours prior to the shaking, as well as the
election of George W. Bush as President, years before he even considered
running.
Are you ready for a word that is destined to blow your socks off? Fasten that
seat belt! God wants intimacy with you on a twenty-four hour basis. Nothing
is more important to Him. In fact, sending Jesus into a world of sin remains
the clearest indicator of the Father's motive and intent. The Man forever
lives to reveal all that Covenant and Heaven have to offer humanity.
In these days of the Spirit, there's going to be a vital, experiential
reversal of the curse. I can assure you of this, prophetically and, most
importantly, based upon the Word. Just as Satan publicly flexes his muscles
through lies, sickness, poverty and death, such will be the case with the
Holy Spirit, as He moves and covers this earth with a knowledge of the
Glory...a knowing, via signs, wonders and miracles, the Supernatural, a
visual unveiling of the Blood Contract, that which is in the Book. No promise
from God is void of the power necessary for bringing itself to pass. This
planet will witness the Living Word becoming flesh again, through the Bride
and Body of Christ. No blessing will be withheld.
Let's proceed ahead with that previously mentioned revelation. Sin demands
recognition, judgment and punishment, a penalty. In the natural, that's what
our justice system is all about. However, even those paying the price in
prisons and other institutions are haunted with tormenting memories of their
past deeds. You see, punishment rarely restores and reconciles, but instead,
usually creates more difficulty...personally and societally. So, when one
carries iniquity, guilt and shame invariably rule. Subconsciously, that
individual attempts punishment, sometimes through drinking, drugs,
self-mutilation, eating disorders, depression, suicide, and the list goes on
and on. The desire for "justice" is inherent.
Judgment and punishment are necessary. For every action, there's a reaction,
or consequence...good, bad or indifferent. One reaps what he sows. That's
precisely why self-destructive behavior is so prevalent in this day and age.
Let me talk about myself for a moment. The enemy of Paul's soul has done his
level best over the years to make me feel unworthy, hopelessly sinful,
useless, stupid and evil. After all, that's his job. Have you ever been
accused of something you've never done? Has a friend, for whom you would
literally die, pulled that proverbial rug out from underneath your feet,
without communication or even sound reason, leaving behind a soul, crushed
and bruised? At one point in my life, I didn't feel worthy enough to read the
Bible or watch Christian television, let alone, appear on any related
program.
Was I an evil person, waking up mornings, thinking of unusual and creative
ways of making God miserable? Absolutely not! Dad had my heart, and He knew
it. Yet, the accuser of the Brethren would open his little scrapbook and
declare, "Remember when...?" Some of the accusations possessed validity. My
innocence comes by way of the Blood.
I was never an angel, growing up. Many can, and probably would, attest to
that fact! The devil's attempts were sometimes enough to get my attention and
ruin many days, if not months and years. You see, the instigator would often
meet me on his own turf, that of reason, logic, the sense realm. No Christian
is a match for him there. Yet, Satan cannot hold a candle to us, when a
quality decision is made to take up residency in God's Atmosphere, His
Presence.
What was the adversary's ultimate plan in all of this? He desperately wanted
me to live in the past and punish myself for sins, real and imagined,
including external perceptions (outside accusations) of where I might have
missed it. Beyond that, Satan desires to keep us from fellowshipping Dad and
boldly entering the Throne Room, that Secret Place of the Most High, for the
express purpose of pleasing God's heart and becoming more like Him in
thoughts, words, actions and outcome. Guilt and shame will do that.
Nevertheless, the Great Lover has been landing home a powerful point. Not
only have our sins been forgiven, but also forgotten. When we become
unwilling to appropriate the Blood and lay aside weights and iniquities, the
Believer punishes himself in a variety of ways, while keeping destiny at
arm's length. They'll never be joy and peace. Victory continues to be
unreachable and unattainable. Let me say this again, sin-consciousness won't
allow anyone to enter His Presence, or embrace and appropriate that
ever-abounding grace.
It's high time to let go of the past and recognize that your bill, or
penalty, has been paid in full, via the finished work of Christ. Nothing more
is required, but acceptance, appropriation and walking in the light of that
awesome truth. Then can the Church step up to the Throne, on equal ground
with Jesus, and walk this planet as victorious Sons and Daughters of the Most
High, cognizant of who we are, confident that Satan has nothing in us.
Additionally, fear will flee, as faith-filled words dominate the law of sin
and death. Father will become as real to you, and even more so, than any man,
woman or child in your life. Consequently, He'll keep us from accidents and
bad decisions, assist in midcourse corrections with a Voice that says, "This
is the way. Walk ye in it!" Everything touched will turn to gold, sometimes
literally. Your hand will prosper the tormented, sinned-plaqued, sick, dying
and physically dead, as Resurrection Life, God's DNA, is infused into each
atom and molecule.
The Holy Spirit has more to say about this wonderful unveiling. Let's attend
to His words!
Protection And Provision!
"Beloved, never was it My intent for you to walk and live beneath the
Covenant's rights and privileges. Contemplate the finished work of Christ,
that ultimate, true sacrifice that puts you in a position of relationship,
empowerment and destiny. So many among you are weak, sickly and perish for
lack of knowledge and vision. Some even sleep, or are prematurely in their
graves. Has long life not been promised, a satisfied walk and ministry with
Me? Sin-consciousness has prevented scores from entering into that Place of
truest identity and empowerment. Hear this resoundingly! There is no room for
the old, that blame and shame of former years. Surely, a battle will always
exist on this side of Heaven, between the spirit of man and that soul...your
mind, intellect, emotions, will, dreams and visions. Regardless, an immediate
vote is necessary. But if you halt between two opinions, the evil one's and
Mine, instability, confusion and further torment will rule your life.
Relationship and practicing Dad's Presence is what your walk is all about. As
Branches of the Vine, no fruit can be produced without plugging into, and
taking Life from, the Author and Finisher of all faith. Oh, how I long for
the Children to spend time with Me. I won't violate boundaries by pushing
Myself onto the Kids. There must initially be a drawing nigh unto the Parent
of all parents. Crawl up into My lap and sense an infusion of Life, salvation
to the uttermost. Walking in the Spirit will guarantee a Glory to Glory
process in all departments. Just as a hunter would rarely leave his compass
behind when venturing into unknown territories, you, too, are to depend upon
that Radar within, powered by the closeness We legally and vitally enjoy.
Will you do it? Let Me have that sin-consciousness, which has been
trespassing, sapping strength and energy, and impeding your walk, long en
ough. A rich land lies just ahead. Protection and provision are part of all
that. There's no more room for weights or traditions of old. All has become
new!"
