Touch Not My Anointed!
"'Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.'"
1 Chronicles 16:22
"You know what has happened throughout Judea, beginning in Galilee after the
baptism that John preached...how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy
Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were
under the power of the devil, because God was with him." Acts 10:37-38
"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing
power is from God and not from us." 2 Corinthians 4:7
I often contemplate how we take for granted the finished work of Christ, the
fact that the Christian has received an anointing from the Holy One, an
unction that potentially could, and ultimately will, turn this world upside down
with a literal manifestation of the Sons and Daughters of God.
You are the Spout where Heaven's Glory comes out! The excellency of God's
Treasure resides on the inside, within the heart of man. In plain terms, we are
Dispensers of Love, Life and Light.
Jesus knew what He was doing, when He told the disciples that it was in their
best interest for Him to go and be with the Father, in order that the
Comforter might come and indwell those who have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior.
Actually, the Master made His point very clear. The Redeemer's departure was,
and continues to be, beneficial to everyone, since the Third Person of the
Trinity is here to glorify the Sender, impart revelatory knowledge to the Church,
empower the obedient ones to perform those greater works, guarantee prosperity
and success in everything pertaining to life and godliness, be a friend to
our friends and an enemy of the opposition. Inherent within that equation is an
"all sufficiency" posture, a locale where we're the head, and no longer the
tail. God's Children are favored in a myriad of ways, because of that anointing
from the Holy One. Men, women and children recognize something special about
Members of the Family who practice His Presence, spend time in the Throne Room,
while returning to earth with Dad's very essence and nature.
Often at my Clinic, certain patients will enter our waiting room, wearing a
particular brand of perfume or cologne. The fragrance has little difficulty
penetrating the very atmosphere and, in some cases, the walls between them and
me. Without question, I then realize their presence. I think, "So and so is here
now!" Even after leaving the building, the sweet essence lingers and
occasionally adheres to others who have dealt with that individual. I would describe
this as environmental influence or contagion.
Such is the case in the realm of the Spirit. When a quality decision is made
to take up residency in the Secret Place of the Most High, one returns with
Heaven's very atmosphere emanating from his pores. Along with that, the
Creator's nature and attributes accompany us on the return journey, internally
following the Bride wherever She's led by the Holy Spirit. Revelatory knowledge
becomes a rich part of the Follower's walk. Clearly stated, people have a unique
tendency of taking on the influence from whence they've come. With that in mind,
why wouldn't the Church want to spend more time with Him?
Is God a respecter of persons? Absolutely not! Does He have favorites? Yes
and no. The Almighty isn't a whole lot different from us. Jesus wasn't either,
in the days of His earthly ministry. King David was deemed "God's friend." The
Master enjoyed a deep respect and love for John. Investigative reports relate
that Jesus hung out with children, thrilled at discussing the Word and talking
about the Father.
In order to be a friend, we must show ourselves friendly. The Word says that.
Know this! Whatever excites the Holy Spirit will have an identical effect on
Jesus and the Father. All members of the Body have an equal opportunity to
become one of His "favorites," in terms of fellowship and sharing, by simply
acknowledging the fact that He's there, and coming boldly to the Throne, where we
obtain mercy and help in times of need. Yielding and being obedient are all
part of that process, as well. In drawing nigh unto the Lover of Souls, He, too,
rapidly moves in our direction. A sidenote here. When missing the mark, don't
run away from the Glory, His marvelous Presence. Instead, head in God's
direction. Why? Where sin abounds, grace so much more gains ascendency.
Who can escape the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus? Dad's the Remedy
Man, not our accuser. We have an adversary who accomplishes that negative task
quite well. Yet, Satan has nothing in us. We need to recognize this fact and
begin walking in our rights and authority.
Ponder the Ark of God's Covenant. We know about its contents. What intrigues
me is the fact that the literal Presence of Glory resided in that golden box.
Those responsible for the container's care were sternly instructed not to
touch any part of the glorious object. We know what happened when a they did. Men
instantly dropped and became history, literally and figuratively.
You see, human flesh and blood are not geared for the fullness of God's
influence. We need the Standby, living within, a new nature and identity, in order
to survive the Power that has been destined to flow through the Church. If
it's potent enough to heal the sick and raise the dead, and that is the case,
then we would not be able to stand under His influence, without first being
transformed and prepped for the Covenant's infusion of Life.
Let's return to the Ark of the Covenant. In Old Testament days, the greatest
potency existed on the inside of that box. Obviously, the Ark's external
covering enjoyed the same Power and influence as its contents, not unlike the
properties and nature of radiation.
Are we not like that? Certainly! Think of this fact. The excellency of God's
Power, or unction, abundantly exists within every Christian's spirit, for the
purpose of manifestation, translation and facilitation of the Great
Commission. Never fear the devil or any of his cohorts, as they have no more right
coming against your life and ministry than entering the Holy of Holies, or touching
the Ark, which is precisely why we've been instructed to leave the Father's
Anointed and Anointing alone. Like fire, it will either benefit you and cook
your food, or burn down your house. In no way would I ever want to be on the
business end of Heaven's Glory. Instead, we are to utilize this gift as a fine
surgical instrument, or laser, to excise the bad, while protecting healthy
tissue, what is good.
The Teacher has entered His classroom. Let's attentively listen and learn, as
He prepares the Bride for more!
Beyond Your Imagination!
"Precious Child, has it not been written that I would materially and tangibly
manifest My Presence beyond what you can expect or think? What I'm about to
do has yet to enter the mind of man, as I Am a God of suddenlies and surprises.
Once more, I'd have you meditate on the Ark of the Covenant, yes...even the
Holy of Holies. Why not include the very atmosphere around the Throne? Do you
really believe that Satan's ministry of stealing, killing and destroying could
possibly last one earthly second in that realm? Physical and emotional disease
are not figments of one's imagination. Neither are diagnoses. Never refute
their reality, since that's not where your victory lies. Instead, I want you to
perceive them as the trespassers they are, with no more right to your being
than they have to Mine. In fact, you don't belong to you, but Me, as bone of
Dad's bone, and flesh of His flesh. Covenant's method of manifesting is from the
inside out, which is the reason why the Word instructs the Church to 'work
out' Her salvation, from that regenerated spirit, to the renewing of one's mind
and healing, or quickening, of the body. Victory can never arrive through the
arm of flesh, but as a result of receiving revelation from Our visits. All has
its origin in the unseen realm, the place in which you'll soon be spending
more time, and gaining true reality. Lots will change in the days ahead. Many
reading this will, after a night's sleep, arise with gifts of faith, vision, an
exact knowing of what they're to do, a complete understanding of destiny.
Epiphanies and Divine visitations will become more prolific within the next few
years, when Members of the Body will gather, comparing notes and rejoicing in
this new Life! Vision is slated to invade even the driest and most rigid
churches. I Am the God of all flesh. Is there anything too difficult for Me? You know
the answer to that question. Have you lately noticed an increase of compassion
and determination to bless? That, too, is of Heaven, a preparation for the
miraculous and what lies ahead, as together, We fill this earth with a knowledge
of the Creator's Glory. Remember, nothing will be impossible! Work out your
salvation by yielding to My will. Struggle no longer. You've already been
judged the righteousness of God in Christ. Redemption is legally complete. There's
no room for negative self-talk or defeat. No one is to lay anything to the
charge of My Elect. Guilt and shame cannot come from this House, as Heaven
doesn't possess any. Always know, when Heaven transmits, blessings flow and are
eagerly enjoyed. Let's journey over to the other side, a new mentality, or way of
thinking. Prepare to be pleasingly amazed!"
