Spirit And Truth!

"You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you." Isaiah 26:3

How often I ponder the fact that most of us have been educated beyond our intelligence. We so depend upon those senses in the soulish realm. Consequently, the tangible and palpable rule most people on this planet, determining perceptions of happiness and peace, identity and direction. Decisions are made, based upon what we see, feel, taste, hear and smell. However, things aren't always as they appear. Any half decent magician or alluring radio and television ad fully proves that contention.

People are spending millions daily, attempting to buy hope in a variety of forms, from the latest of diet fads, which are today proving harmful and worthless, to the newest of material objects. The novel and unique titillate the senses of humanity, temporarily dulling perpetual discomfort and pain, both associated with a hunger and quest for God.

Spiritual starvation manifests in a variety of forms, from compulsive overeating, to workaholism and perfectionism. After all, there's nothing illegal about overeating or putting in eighty hours of work a week. Being "perfect" doesn't seem all that bad. However, those categories are clearly identified as life-threatening psychopathological behaviors, which can never possibly scratch an itch for the Supernatural within the very core of man's being. Only God's hand can satiate that uneasiness.

When meeting Paul Gervais, one really cannot know him in the natural, since man is a spirit, and, for the most part, you are only experiencing my shell and soul, along with whatever I feel led to share, in terms of thoughts and opinions.

This writer possesses a soul...mind, intellect, will, emotions, dreams and visions, and lives in a body...a temporary earth suit. You don't know me as much as I'm acquainted with myself. Neither can those deemed as "best friends" have an inside knowledge of who I truly am. On the other hand, God is much more familiar with the internal workings of His Servant's heart. That's right! He's privy to those innermost intents, secrets and desires. In fact, Family Members, surrendered to the Lord's highest plan for their lives, possess a marvelous comfort, relative to both present and future, as the Most High works in them, both to will and do of His good pleasure. Consequently, we can trust Heaven's sustained nudgings and promptings, as Jesus promised that the Bride wouldn't be given a stone for a loaf of bread. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit is residing on the inside to keep the Follower of Christ on track. We need not miss the mark on a single score.

An orange can't be tasted by the ear. Neither is it possible for the eye to savor its unique flavor. One must use his mouth and tastebuds to become adequately acquainted with that particular fruit. Such is the case with God. He is a spirit, as are we. You and I must worship and become intimate with Him, in Spirit and Truth. The Bride was created in Dad's likeness and image, to be like the Creator in all pertaining to life and godliness. Regardless, failure to spend time in the Lover's Throne Room and Word will posture us at the same level as those outside the Body of Christ, with carnal minds, refusing to be renewed and quickened. Vain thoughts and imaginations will rule each day, relentlessly tormenting their recipients, cultivating a "fainting" mentality, one that tempts its victims to become hopeless and apathetic. Ultimately, they'll be a fainting and giving up

. Let's return to the original contention. Again, what touches our senses may not always be as it appears. There are a multitude of counterfeits in this world. In the absence of the Holy Spirit's performed job description, we're helpless in determining right from wrong, the real from its antithesis. If Jesus fully depended upon the Revelator, and He did, you and I surely must follow His lead.

Have you ever given serious thought to contemplative prayer? During a heartwarming, most inspiring service today with Juan Carlos Ortiz, at the Crystal Cathedral, in Garden City, California, the Teacher, once more, strongly challenged me in the same department. We are so used to three points and a poem, laser-printed programs, informing us what the Holy Spirit is supposed to accomplish during His designated hour. Sadly, little to no room is provided for Him to clearly act and speak, since we're doing most of the talking. Dead air is frowned upon and discouraged. Frankly, I firmly believe that we become uncomfortable when not in control.

God has been calling upon us to lay aside traditions and agendas, while being still and knowing that He is Lord! In quietness and confidence the Bride's strength will be made perfect, or perfected, a mighty translating into a proliferation of signs, wonders and miracles!

Vision Restored!

"Beloved, for lack of vision, people perish in the world and the Body of Christ. Dreams and revelatory knowledge are fuel for that inherent Spark (Holy Spirit), as Glory's unveilings make His ministers a flaming fire, from the loins up and down. The death process...in spirit, soul and body, begins when one shuts down, dissociates from Covenant, that invigorating Fifth Dimensional Realm, the Secret Place of the Most High, Heaven's locale of communication and infusion. Many have prematurely departed for lack of knowledge, a denial and refusal to walk after the Spirit. Death does not lie on His pathway, only righteousness, goodness and mercy, a long life of always having full provision and sufficiency in all. Has it not been written that the Children are to enjoy longevity and satisfaction? How is that achieved? A satisfied life is gained by practicing My Presence, from which the blueprint of destiny is obtained and set into vital motion. Contemplate a 'lack of purpose' mindset. Let's also consider what the world deems as retirement. Without empowerment and a reignition, retirement rarely incorporates vision. Far too often, there's a shutting down of vision and spiritual insight. Consequently, some prematurely depart this earth, partly as a result of not keeping the Fire alive in their bellies, that Glory designed to empower a further plundering of hell for the express purpose of populating Heaven. Hear this well! One should never retire, because of age or attitude, from Covenant and communication with the very Author of balance, design and determination. Picture the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ, permeating and invigorating each cell. Is there an age barrier at either end of the spectrum, when it comes to preaching the Gospel, healing the sick and raising the dead? Now is the acceptable hour of salvation to the uttermost. As the Glory, again prompted by vision, flows into, and out of, each atom, a quickening transpires...yes, even in that mortal body. Every Family Member should live up to, and beyond, the promises of Life and ministry. Satan has always done his best to discourage and dissuade the Believer from Heaven's abundance of vision, that word your God watches over to perform, one that cannot return unto Him void. The enemy remains the purveyor of lies, discouragement and death. Make way for an onslaught of revelation and future contemplation, as Fresh Manna falls from Heaven's Bakery, Spirit Food, daily Bread, the Word, which, when ingested, will set ablaze those mandates and fruits of destination. The issues of Life readily flow out of the abundance abiding within your heart. Forsake not the hour and day of Divine habitation. I will not only visit, but fully intend to reside and abide within the Bride. Every day of serious fellowship with the Commander-in-Chief must surely translate into unprecedented effectiveness in a world poised to be saturated and satiated with Heaven's contents. Even as I speak, spiritual cataracts are falling from eyes, intricately fashioned after Mine, to see into the previously invisible and impossible. Vision and life go hand in hand. Prepare for an abundance of revelation and rain!"
