The Eye Of Faith!

The Great Commission of Matthew 10:8 is abundantly clear. Jesus has
commanded us to go into all the world, preaching the Gospel, healing the sick,
casting out devils and raising the dead. Freely the Church has received. In like
fashion, She is to liberally dispense the Father's good and perfect. Not unlike
a recent distribution of the flu vaccine in America, wherever there's a
need, the most vulnerable positioned first, the Body of Christ must be poised and
activated for dispatch in the direction of sin, sickness, poverty and death.
Where iniquity abounds, grace should much more gain ascendency.
When was the last time you witnessed any of the previously mentioned
mandates? Even churches with the largest congregations and most impressive budgets
haven't been enjoying an onslaught of resurrections and deliverances lately. A
few may approach an altar and accept the Savior. However, people aren't
lining up at the church's door, awaiting pastor's arrival, for the express
purpose of inviting the Redeemer into their hearts.
Boredom appears prevalent in the Body of Christ. Often, there are more
individuals in the morning breakfast line at fast food restaurants than we
encounter during Sunday services. Spiritually speaking, humanity's hunger is still
the same, but men, women and children are being met with empty menus and poor
service. The aroma of His Presence and the associated miraculous simply
aren't there. In fact, many church doors are locked six out of seven days.
Consequently, people go elsewhere to fill the void and meet needs by way of
unhealthy decisions, compulsions, addictions and other behaviors.
It's high time for us to get into the Book and expand our menu, while
tasting and seeing that the Lord is good. We can't be on fire without going through
the fire. A man is only as good as his experiences, which is one of the
reasons why Jesus had to be tempted in all points like as we, yet without sin.
Furthermore, He was obedient unto death, bearing every iniquity, sickness and
all poverty, even the chastisement of this world's peace. The Man is well
acquainted with our sorrows and griefs. Thus, compassion and understanding are
automatics in the Throne Room.
Where did the Bride miss that proverbial boat? From Adam and Eve to the
present, we have almost always chosen another route, more often than not turning
our backs on relationship and Divine provision, choosing alternative,
ineffective and basically frustrating ways to connect with God.
Original man wasn't satisfied with one-on-one intimacy with the Father. For
some strange reason, from the Garden scene to the ridiculous fashioning of
that golden calf during Moses' Mount Sinai visit, there's been an aversion to
dealing directly with the One Who loves us best.
Man's original sin was fueled by a mindset of doing things our own way,
rejecting the shortest distance between two points, that straight line to the
Throne Zone. Glory instructs us to maintain a single eye, while setting the
Christian's face as flint in God's direction. Once placing one's hand to the
plow, looking back undoubtedly ends in a crooked furrow or drifting from destiny.
Lot's wife learned that costly lesson well. That's why her example is in the
Book!
Not much has changed today. God is avoided unless we're in dire need, having
come to an end in ourselves. This seems similar to driving around on bald
tires. We can do that for awhile. Then comes our moment of reckoning, when
everything blows. The prodigal son chose to go this route.
Returning from a week in Washington, D. C., I was in the air, twenty-one
minutes from the approach to Portland's International Jetport, when something
very unusual and strange occurred. The small jet's left wing flap, which slows
down the aircraft during the landing phase, refused to engage. Unless you've
experienced such an ordeal, it's difficult to comprehend the varied spectrum
of thoughts and emotions associated with such a potential demise. Two
associated emergency measures had to be followed...an emptying of fuel tanks over
the Atlantic, which consumed a half-hour, along with permitting time for
Federal and emergency teams to arrive on the scene. The worst case scenario would
have been a fatal crash. At best, the plane might touch down and have enough
runway to remain in one piece.
To make a long story short, I repented of half the world's sins, wanting to
cover all bases, taking some comfort in knowing that a three-and-a-half
million dollar life insurance policy had been established for such a situation.
However, I wouldn't have been the one spending the award. You see, it's more of
a death policy for the living, those fortunate enough to benefit from the
funds. Thoughts ranged from, "Will this hurt? What about this ministry, destiny
and the vision God had placed within my heart?" The trivial no longer
mattered. There wouldn't be a giant fire ball, since the fuel had already been
dumped. Slowing down the jet was paramount at that point. Three life preserving
possibilities existed...the landing gear, reversing two engine thrusters and a
single braking system, which could only be activated at a slower speed.
Subsequent thoughts involved my family and the President's. Paul urgently
needed someone who would enter into instant prayer agreement. Recognizing that
a small computer was on my belt, within arm's length, I emailed Jeb Bush, the
President's brother and Florida's Governor. Within minutes, he returned that
emergency message with..."I'm praying right now!" This very special family
surely triggered Heaven's Covenant in the saving of my life.
Looking out at those stubborn flaps, within my mind's eye, that of faith,
angels were discerned. They were holding onto the wings. Psalm 91 rushed
through this troubled soul. With landing gear released and locked, the touchdown
was steep and fast. Emergency vehicles lined the entrance to the Jetport. Some
had also positioned themselves on the runway. Red and blue lights flashed
everywhere. A peace then richly invaded my heart. The jet ultimately stopped
within inches of the pavement's end. God's Contract had fulfilled itself, via
entering into agreement with Florida's Governor and obeying each prompting from
the Holy Spirit. Had it not been for Jeb, the Word and Blood of Christ,
these sentences wouldn't be on this page. There was a discernable restraining
Power at work!
That very day, the Holy Spirit granted one of the most stirring revelations
I've ever had about the importance of intimacy and what hangs in the balance
of each decision made or not rendered. The Father is truly looking for a
people through whom He can show Himself strong and pour forth His blessings.
Along with that, I realized Heaven's arm so desires to move on our behalf,
wherever life and ministry are opposed by darkness. Golden images and pseudo-gods
will never replace the One Who forever lives to show Himself strong on behalf
of the Kids.
Let's attend to His sayings, right now!
The Dumbing Down Factor!
"Beloved, a desensitization has been unfolding over the centuries, one of
'dumbing down,' a preference for the traditional over Glory's Supernatural.
Such has been the case in all regions of life and godliness. Not unlike getting
used to frigid water when sunning and bathing, the Bride has been tricked
and cheated out of Heaven's highest and best, via generations of unhealthy
toleration. Dear Child, anger isn't always an enemy, but can become a friend, an
indicator that something's wrong, while motivating pristine desires and
activating change. Unless one becomes sick and tired of remaining in that state,
there can be no change and associated effectiveness. In the natural, certain pe
ople are satisfied with the quick, easy and substandard, particularly when
selecting eateries. Shortcuts are the norm for many. Thus, there's a 'dumbing
down' progression, where the expedient becomes acceptable and profitable,
while refusing and bypassing the superior. Does the Word not challenge My Family
to taste and see that the Lord is good? Once you've experienced Heaven's
Bakery, there will never be a desire to embrace the beggarly elements of this
world again. No one living in and around the Throne Room would elect to
exchange venues. In My Presence is the fullness of joy, peace, provision and
protection. I Am not concerned about Eden's apple tree or the daily sins of all.
Christ's Blood takes care of that matter. What moves Me is when the potentially
blessed turn their backs on Our rich relationship, as did Adam and Eve,
forsaking destiny for the pseudo and mundane. Know this! All sin proceeds from the
original, namely a forsaking and denial of relationship, unparalleled
intimacy and revelation, those planning and strategy sessions together, where
hell's impact and demise are discussed and destroyed. Sin is what man does well,
particularly in the absence of Remedy. Walking in the Spirit avoids iniquity.
Beyond that, it establishes the Believer in a location of performing those
greater works. Jesus followed that precise prescription by perpetually
remaining plugged into Heaven's Outlet and owing no man but to love him. The Son made
one point very clear. He was in complete control. No one could take His
life, but He willingly laid it down for the Sheep, not to mention the fact that
the Savior articulated the precise hour of death, life and transition. Even
the Resurrection was timed. Be still and know that I Am God. A special order is
being meticulously prepared in Glory's Kitchen. Pull to the curb and await
delivery. Full price was paid at the window for your provision. The Holy
Spirit won't be late, as He represents the Son from both ends. Isn't it wonderful
to know that I fill all things, including you? Thus, the Father has no
problem establishing promises and prophesies. Dad's arm is heading in your
direction for good. Being in the proper place at the right time will transform those
situations and circumstances into a testimony that glorifies Me and draws
nations to the cross. A wisdom has been instilled within your heart to establish
the Creator's Kingdom on earth, as it is in Heaven. The Bride's potential is
limitless. Nothing but the best will do. Exactly as the Father was
accurately presented and portrayed in and through the Son, so shall the Sent One be
lifted up and made visible by way of the commissioned. No double-standard can
be permitted in My economy. Never would I mandate the Children to administer
what they themselves haven't personally experienced. The last have been
selected for promotion and an empowerment that will literally bring Heaven to earth
in a palpable and presentable display. Is it any surprise that so few are
being moved into the fold? The proverbial dam is about to rupture with the
miraculous and gifts that will turn this world upside down!"
