Compassion's Fruit!

"Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets." Amos 3:7

I have obeyed the Lord my God; I have done everything you commanded me. Look down from heaven, your dwelling place, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you promised an oath to our forefathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.'" During these hours and days of turmoil and question in the world, as well as the Body of Christ, I am reminded of words that were often spoken by the late Kathryn Kuhlman, particularly during the genesis of her unparalleled ministry to millions around the world. Seeking to know Christ in an intimate manner, she attended numerous evangelistic crusades as a young servant of the Lord, looking for reality, tangibility and palpability. More often than not, Kathryn would walk away from those services empty and confused, with one simple, but valid, question... "What have they done with my Jesus?" In her heart, the Kingdom of God had been inaccurately portrayed.

I don't believe people in general desire to intentionally and vindictively misrepresent the Lord. However, there is a whole lot of conflict and dogmatism out there. We have constructed the most impressive cathedrals and towers, prayed night and day, given until there was no more, yet still remain void of comprehensible intimacy with the greatest Lover of all, the Person Who is Love Himself.

Louisiana and the surrounding Gulf Coast states have been hit hard by one of the most ferocious hurricanes witnessed in history. Our hearts truly go out to all affected by that violent event. Ultimate comfort can only be realized by knowing that God is still on the Throne, and, as Kathryn once said, "If so, everything is going to be all right!"

Understand this well. Satan hates people. That's his nature, intent and ministry in this world...stealing, killing and destroying. Christ came that we might have life, more abundantly than death. He made the point profoundly clear in his three-and-a-half years of ministry. Never once did the Savior slap a human cheek or put a pimple on anyone's face. To the contrary, the Master did exactly what He discerned through His connectiveness with the Father. Beyond that, the Redeemer commissioned the Church to do perform even "greater works than these."

Did Jesus ever instruct His disciples to destroy anything but the works of the enemy? Of course not! He went about doing good, healing all oppressed by darkness, setting at liberty those who had been bruised by hell. The Lord delivered the demon possessed, raised the dead, placed gold in the mouth of a fish for taxes, multiplied loaves and fishes to feed the faint and hungry...whatever might benefit humanity. The Man protected His House and still does. God could never, ever involve Himself with sin or its byproducts. If there were a single hurting soul within the range of Dad's hand, that person received Heaven's best.

Love isn't birthed and sustained through hormones or emotions, since both are fluid and fleeting, but, in its most pristine fashion, is something one does on purpose, for a purpose. God so loved the world that He gave, absent hormones and emotions, His only begotten Son on purpose, once more, for a purpose...salvation to the uttermost for spirit, soul, body, life and ministry. Like Niagara Falls, nothing flows from His venue but goodness and mercy. While the Children sleep, the Almighty is planning and delivering blessings, while facilitating Satan's demise on our behalf, before a world yearning the "real Jesus."

In the wake of America's current tragedy, I've heard and been sent "words" that place blame for the hurricane (Katrina) and associated incidentals...flooding, rioting, looting, etc., on the Father and his perceived eagerness to judge this beautiful nation and her inhabitants. Katrina has been linked to God, Israel, our Heaven-sent President, Tony Blair and almost every other innocent person out there. Nothing could be more distant from the truth. How confusing that must sound to those who really don't know Him! If one were to spend five minutes in the Throne Room, he would sooner blame the Chicago fire or a bank robbery on his own innocent mother, before he would directly or indirectly ascribe acts of violence and murder to a God Who possesses no evil.

Receiving numerous awards for "Excellency in Broadcasting," I've worked for NBC News, New York, and was News Director for the Maine Broadcasting System. Wearing those hats wasn't always easy. Decisions had to be made on a daily basis. Truthfulness and accuracy were imperative. If I were operating in the same capacities today, I'd have to say that George Bush embraces and reflects utmost character, compassion, wisdom and ability. Our Commander-in-Chief puts people first. He possesses a heart for the oppressed. Few leaders in the free world could ever measure up to this statesman. He has led and brought America through her most trying days. Realistically, aside from Tony Blair and his country, Israel doesn't have a better friend.

One posted message had stated, "God's raining hell, fire and brimstone!" Another suggests a follow-up of blessings. We can't have it both ways. God has never been, nor will He ever become pathological, and that type of thinking and behavior would surely qualify for a diagnosable condition, if I were treating such a patient at the Clinic. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, remedy-oriented, forever living to intercede for the Bride.

Hours before the Northridge earthquake, the Holy Spirit graphically related that event to me. I shared the revelatory information with others. In fact, much of the prophetic content can be found within this Ministry's Archives Section. The act wasn't permissive or incidental in nature. Neither was it God's highest will for man, nor reflective of His heart. What happened? Sin and the Glory collided! That's exactly the etiology of current and future battles in both the spiritual and natural realms. Besides, there is such a thing as weather. Let's not become so ethereal and over-spiritual that we miss the obvious! In addition, special attacks from the enemy must be factored into the equation. But Jesus said, "I have overcome the world." We need not give up, but should enter Covenant's victory, subsequent to any onslaught of negativity.

God loves us. Again, forever living for the Family, He's unquestionably on our side. This planet wasn't created for sin. Drive a splinter into your hand, and the element, being foreign in nature, will culminate in a form of violence, discomfort and inflammation, while working its way out of the body. When that first drop of Jesus' Blood struck this earth, a demand of righteousness was placed on the ground. The world could no longer contain sin without attempting to expel that which had been trespassing.

A friend of mine once was the victim of food poisoning and remained acutely sick for several days. His system worked overtime to eliminate toxins, what was foreign to his body. The Lord had nothing to do with this gentleman's temporary illness. He chose what was ingested. Perhaps, if the we check in with the Holy Spirit more often, protection, provision and promotion will become the norm.

The nations of the world were fashioned for Heaven's Glory, and that's poised to strike, a Positive Contagion of Rain...signs, wonders and miracles, on the just and unjust alike. Dad's grace will take on new and increased meaning, as men, women and children discover the "real Jesus." In that hour, all myths and lies about Him will be forever exposed and quelled.

This message is being composed eight miles above the earth, in a jet, heading toward Los Angeles. If I thought for a moment that the Father were some sort of a moody meany, Paul Gervais certainly wouldn't risk a flight. Why might that be? He would have judged me long before the Louisiana incident. I'm not holy or righteous, except in Him. All have sinned and come short of God's Glory. In spite of that, the Almighty has forgiven and forgotten all of our iniquities through the finished work of Christ. Grace...unmerited, unearned favor! So great a love He has for us! Let's accept and embrace that fact, and begin confessing the Word, immersing ourselves in the Christian's newness within the Covenant. Then, the "real Jesus" will be known throughout this world, as this planet is filled with a knowledge of the Lord's love...His purpose for a purpose!

While preparing this chapter, the most beautiful Gold Flakes have begun inundating my opened Bible. He's surely confirming the Word with signs following. Let's have ears to hear what the Holy Spirit continues to share with His Church!

Try The Spirits!

"Beloved Child, jets and other sophisticated navigational vessels have been afforded guidance systems to insure accurate and safe travel. Maps are manufactured, sold and followed daily to promote successful destiny. Do you really believe that your Father would create man in the likeness and image of Himself without adding an ability to be ongoingly directed, since without meticulous instruction, fulfillment of Covenant and the Great Commission would be impossible. Furthermore, you'd be no match for the wiles of the enemy. Has it not been written that the steps of a righteous man are to be led of the Lord? That's guidance! The Most High has gone to prepare a place of certainty for the Bride, so that where He is, there the Church might also be. We're talking about illumination here. In addition, the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, or place in which the Holy Spirit relates the Almighty's will. Living in My Presence is, indeed, a venue where you need not be moved, dissuaded, or miss the mark on a single score. No one has ever resented following a heart beating after Mine. Neither has any ever really complained over spending too much time in the Secret Place, that location of pristine and continual revelation. Come! Let Us reason together. Holiness, works and righteousness don't usher in Heaven's Glory. Are you ready to hear what does? Obedience and yieldedness! Listen well! Provision, protection and promotion are the anticipated fruits of remaining yielded and pliable in the Master Potter's hands. Consider those who performed remarkable exploits in the Lord's name. Venture into the Old and New Testaments. What triggered the miraculous for them? Reflect on those occasions when the arm of God stretched forth and prolifically moved? Did the Red Sea not part, as Moses and the Children of Israel set aside their personal agendas, fears and natural schemas, while taking that proverbial plunge of faith into the unseen realm? Waters didn't part until their toes touched the shoreline. That young lad's lunch wasn't multiplied because he was merely a good kid. No! The boy was available and swiftly responded when the Master spoke. Oh, how easy life would be if people would enter the Throne Room with that same boldness, which belongs to them through the Blood. The Mercy Seat encourages and supports sustained residency. Is there anything in the Book that suggests one has to ever leave Papa's domain? Truthfully, your mandate is to never depart, thus facilitating the will of Heaven, a replication on earth of what's taking place on this end...a mirroring and reflecting of the original Source. So much and many hang in the balance. Obedience is better than sacrifice. The eyes of Glory go to and fro, throughout this world, seeking those who might understand, sell out and conduit the greatest Presence and Power to ever be dispensed since man's genesis. Confusion is rampant within all sectors. Try the spirits. If a thought or act doesn't feel right, reject it without reservation. Let the peace of God be the umpire, or deciding factor, of your heart. One never rises above the level of his vision or confession. The Believer's profession must line up with what's been written, since I Am watching over My Word to perform the revelatory. Nothing is impossible to any Family Member Who doubts all doubts and believes his beliefs. You are about to turn a glorious corner. Place one foot in front of the other. Salute no man along the way, and enter a large place for that long-awaited Glory. The only constant is change. Nothing ever remains the same. Trust not in oppression, for terror comes not by Me. The Hour of the Church has arrived!"
