"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come. All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God." 2 Corinthians 5:17-20

"Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed...not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence...continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and act according to his good purpose." Philippians 2:12-13

There has never been such an hour of spiritual confusion, not since the beginning of time. We read in the Word and hear at church, "God is good!" Yet, today's headlines seemingly don't fortify and attest to this fact. Winds of doctrine and theological dogma also mock that for which the human heart yearns...a manifestation of the Lord's Goodness and Mercy...Heaven's Twins, through the Sons and Daughters of Glory.

Even among Believers, a watering down of Covenant can be witnessed...a majoring in the minors. Some become caught up in legalism and its associated rigidity, failing to recognize the Father's true reason for being. Consequently, many are cheated out of Heaven's myriad of benefits, including both intimacy and provision in everything pertaining to life and godliness.

Again, from Genesis to Revelation, a common thread can be found. The Father wanted Children, upon Whom He could bestow a perpetual flow of Supernatural Love, Light and Life. Consequently, the Most High fashioned a marvelously intricate universe of awesome beauty and balance. Additionally, toward that end, He spoke and we became!

A walk through a park or around any given neighborhood, gazing at the stars, contemplating the ecosystem, witnessing the birth of a child, or simply appreciating the faithfulness of love-based relationships, vividly attest to the reality and sensitivity of a Creator Who forever lives to provide for, protect and bless the Family.

Without the precious Holy Spirit, mankind wouldn't have a clue about life and godliness, when exposed to the incredible number of existing doctrines and belief systems. We must learn to recognize the Standby's Voice and listen to the Teacher through those slight nudgings and promptings, as He ongoingly unveils the Father's heart by way of the written and revelatory Word.

The Third Person of the Trinity resides on the inside of each Christian for that express purpose. There are no secrets in the Kingdom! Since His moment of arrival on the Day of Pentecost, there has never been a doubt, relative to God's plan, when listening to one's redemptively "new heart," as we walk, talk and have our being in the Presence of a loving Daddy. He is the One Who has clearly commissioned the Church to preach the Gospel (Good News) to every living creature, heal the sick, deliver the oppressed and raise the dead.

Miracles forever settle the issue of the Lord's character, nature and will. Let me give you one of many personal examples. In so doing, it's important to underscore a major truth here. Nothing is ever too big or small in His eyes. When we interact with the Author and Finisher of faith, the Children are to be fully aware of His Love, Light and Life, Papa's availability, ability and approachability.

Meticulously watching over His Word to perform it, He forever lives to creatively display, express and manifest the finished work of Christ. The Throne Room's Delivery System is the Holy Spirit, working in, with and through yielded Vessels of Honor, those who have become the very righteousness of God, via the Son and His sinless shed Blood, articulating grace and goodness from the Mercy Seat in the Heavenly Holy of Holies.

The Spirit remains the One empowering Cells (Believers) within the Body for a conduiting of Glory's contents, as "My will is done on earth, exactly as it is in Heaven." We attend to His Word, and He initiates performance, a confirmation of Christ's finished work.

Let's return to the previously mentioned story. Several years ago, while composing a letter on my son's word processor, a manifestation transpired, an event that would forever impact and frame his perception of the One Who sent us Heaven's Best. Jeremy was probably eleven at the time. Having passed a small goldfish bowl on my way to his computer, I noticed a little yellow creature floating on the water's surface.

The fish was dead. In my mind, the matter wasn't too disturbing or out of the ordinary. If the truth be known, there was an inner relief of not having to regularly hound Jeremy over the cleanliness of the water and its inhabitant. And besides, we're only talking about a miniscule creature that would probably cease existing within a brief span, anyway.

God and Jeremy love animals; but the latter seemed to have a thing about not properly taking care of them. I usually process quickly. "This is no big deal. The boy's room will smell better, and we won't have to purchase any more fish food. The corpse should be well received by Augusta's Sanitary District, and that will surely bring permanent closure to the issue at hand. Worst case scenario...if he puts up a fuss, we'll head for the pet store and replace the decedent."

Typing away, I became cognizant of Jeremy's presence in room. He had obviously positioned himself before the remains. "Dad!" I didn't answer. "Dad!" Still no response from the busy parent. "Dad, he's dead!"

The interruption of my focus, namely finishing that letter, set the stage for a potentially insensitive retort. However, the Holy Spirit was in my child's room. Oh, how He can readily gain our attention with a sudden burst of compassion!

Within my spirit, these words resoundingly resonated: "Paul, remember when you were that age, and your little pet (goldfish) was about to give up the ghost?" I reflected. Two things couldn't live long in our home back then...plants and fish! People survived! Again, a single revelation from God can turn anyone's world upside down. Looking back at the sadness associated with that particular childhood loss, I instinctively spun around, pointed a finger in the direction of Jeremy's concern. A resounding "No!" accompanied that gesture.

Guess what happened? Before that youth's ever-widening eyes, the fish convulsed and leapt, almost out of the tank. The creature commenced swimming around, as if nothing had gone wrong in his day. That was to be my first resurrection!

Jeremy's walk with Christ would never be the same. Raising the dead gained new meaning, likely setting a permanently impressive foundation for his call. God had shown Himself strong, faithful to both Word and Covenant, which are alive, well, relevant and active in the everyday affairs of people. Jeremy's pain attracted the Glory, as does ours.

In that vein, the Instructor is poised to further infuse us with excitement, anticipation and truth. Let's attend to His words!

Covenant's Baseline!

"Faithful Soldier, that which has been eternally written is both poised and programmed to assume tangibility and palpability, as the earth is filled with a knowledge of Heaven's Glory, a contagious, exponential manifestation of the miraculous, all that the Risen Christ has secured for the Bride through His yieldedness and obedience unto death. Are you ready for another morsel of truth? Appearances are meaningless! You are not to be moved or removed by the remnants of sin, sickness, poverty or death. Faith-filled words dominate the law of sin and death. Having done all to stand, stand! Never walk away from that internal, sustained 'knowing,' since faith remains the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of that which is yet to manifest. The inactive and unresponsive will soon be infused by a new law and Life, an unction far exceeding what has been accepted as the norm, or baseline, for centuries, and deemed common unto man. Death is not an end, but only a beginning. That was well learned, demonstrated and documented at the entrance of the Garden Tomb. Nothing terminates until the Author and Finisher closes the curtain. In plain terms, the great I Am is the Living Word Who has the last word! Restoration, reconciliation and vindication are in the Book, abundantly so! 'This is but for the Glory of God, that the works might be made manifest in and through the Son.' Your tears and fears are 'but for the Glory,' a prelude to the miraculous. To the four corners of the earth, wherever midcourse corrections and adjustments are required, the Holy Spirit will surely move to remove what has been dispatched to counter the Father's perfect plan, your destiny. No atom or molecule will be able to escape that glowing Presence, since the Creator richly inhabits His Creation. The earth's the Lord's, and the fullness thereof. As Joint-Heirs, you, too, possess the riches of the Family. Humanity, moved by natural situations, circumstances and mindsets, has a penchant for walking away from dreams, visions and other revelatory impartations. The world is loaded with proverbial graveyards containing precious Seeds of Promise, set aside and abandoned over the years for reason of time and discouragement, as a direct result of listening to counterfeit voices and words. In spite of all that, Glory's Life resides within each grain. No word from your God is void of the Power necessary for bringing itself to pass. A new Baseline is on Heaven's launch pad, one heightening that pole of expectancy. A experiential knowledge of the Glory will lead multitudes to the cross. 2006, a year of overflow, will suddenly and surprising spring forth in a floodtide of release, relevance and reality. Levies of Life are bursting at their seams to unleash Rivers of Living Water. Those cemeteries of disappointment and despair are about to give up their occupants. The Divinely spoken must be, even as I have declared. New beginnings, Anointed One! Lean, listen and learn! Times and seasons are readily being modified, since the only constant is change, not strictly in the natural venue, but the Supernatural, as well. I know how to draw great crowds by and for the Glory. Once more, Christ arrives first in Presence, then in Person. Make way for the Fragrance and wooing of the Throne Room. This is not merely a figurative statement, but a literal one! Heaven and earth are coming together for a joint celebration of souls, and the miraculous will be the catalyst! Erase that blackboard of negativity for a revelatory picture of what's about to become! Settle for nothing less than the totality of Our Covenant. Mediate of each and every facet...from protection to provision. Call it forth! The bigness of the God in you will magnetically draw all reserved for ministry and destiny into the pathway of your journey. Where once you walked and tarried, I will prompt an acceleration of movement and manifestation. Rejoice in anticipation of this newness!"
