Earth, Wind And Fire!
"Christ in you, the hope (revealed blueprint) of glory." Colossians 1:27

in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing
mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there
appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other
tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:1-4...KJV)."
Next to salvation, accompanied by our marvelous Covenant and its associated
components, that previous portion of Scripture remains one of the most
significant in the Bible, since the Believer's identity and empowerment were both
solidly secured during the Holy Spirit's awesome visitation two-thousand years
ago, in obedient response to Jesus' promise, one framing the vital genesis
of the Church, Her mandate, and soul-winning acts of the miraculous.
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. Following Jesus'
witnessed ascension, the Risen Christ dispatched the Spirit of Truth, thus
complementing the Christian's Great Commission. From there, the Third Person of
the Trinity released the "Called and Chosen" to turn this world upside down
with a yet-to-be-seen Glory, brought about by preaching the Gospel, healing
the sick, raising the dead and casting out devils.
Freely we have received (Power...Dynamite from Heaven). In light of that
fact, you and I are to dispense the same Entity in identical fashion, without
discrimination or reservation. The Bride is the Spout where Dad's Glory comes
out, Branches of the Vine, Heaven's location of Life and fruit.
One-hundred-and-twenty people, poised in one accord, or agreement, awaited
in Jerusalem's Upper Room for enduement from the Throne Room. Greater numbers
were obviously invited. Yet, unbelief, personal agendas, natural cares and
deceitfulness of influence swayed their response and individual mindsets,
resulting in a majority missing perhaps the most imperative of Divine appointments
one could ever enjoy, next to the New Birth.
A remnant was astutely sensitive and responsive to that invitation,
recognizing the importance of hearing from the Secret Place, while meticulously
following the Blood's directive. What if no one had shown up? Where would we be
today?Contemplate the eternal losses and other related consequences of our
insensitivity and yieldedness to today's cares and busyness. So much hangs in the
balance of spiritual intimacy and subsequent responsiveness...Heaven's
Supernatural Fuel of Manifestation!
Jesus' prayer of oneness had been set into motion. Those present weren't
exactly certain what would happen at the Power Agent's given moment of arrival.
Without a doubt, they reflected on previous events...Christ's arrival, the
miracles, His words and declared fulfillment of the law. Also considered were
the Master's arrest, trial, crucifixion, resurrection, appearance to many in
the city, Great Commission and promise of return and ultimate ascension. He
now sits at the right hand of the Father, forever living to make intercession
for those who believe and are Heirs of Salvation. In addition, the Savior
unceasingly watches over His Word to perform it.
That group patiently awaited the Word's tangibility. I personally like this
segment of Scripture..."Suddenly!" We are truly living is such a day of
immediacy. God is never late. He wasn't then and won't be today. "Suddenly," there
came the sound of a mighty, rushing wind, a Divine invasion of Heaven on
earth.
The Holy Spirit is likened unto the wind. In my mind's eye, it's easy to
envision that Fresh Breeze from another Dimension. Immediately, a comforting
Presence was discerned as the Godhead's fullness entered that Jerusalem room.
He! Who? He...the Most High, via the Revelator, physically sat upon everyone in
attendance.
Close your eyes and picture that unfathomable moment. God's Representative,
ablaze from the loins up and down, discovered His Target and truly embraced
the Object of the Lord's attention and affection. Reacting to the Wind,
Glory's Fire oxygenated and ignited everyone present. I'm not talking about one
of those little birthday type candles, dancing upon the hairlines of humanity, but
a transformation process, where men and women instantly became Ministers of
Fire...reignited! Remember John's prophetic cry? "And He shall baptize you
with the Holy Ghost and Fire!" This was indeed the beginning.
In direct response to the Holy Spirit's entrance, as with Adam and Eve,
humanity became Towering Infernos of righteousness, holiness, truth, wisdom,
knowledge and the miraculous. Sitting on their respective laps, Divinity
expressed Glory's intimacy, then disappeared. Where did He go? The answer to that
question is resoundingly clear. The Holy Spirit was physically drawn, or
vacuumed, into each attending Believer...His Church, wherein the Lord richly unveils
Heaven's will, plan and destiny. Plainly stated, He vanished into us!
Several years ago, while at my second home in Southern California, a
stirring vision stopped Paul Gervais in his proverbial tracks. Heaven's
gravitational pull swiftly delivered this writer to the Father's loving lap. His face
couldn't be seen. Only the solidness and strength of the Creator's chest and
arms were evident. He tenderly wrapped the latter around me. I couldn't possibly
do justice in any attempt to describe the perception of God's love at that
particular moment. A great exchange, or suction-like experience, preceded a
knowledge that the Almighty had extracted every iota of negativity from this
Servant's spirit, soul and body, while simultaneously transposing all of the
Great Lover's attributes and Blood-backed promises into me, via a Throne Room
Transfusion! I readily felt Life entering each atom of my being. What a
glorious exchange! Facilitated by the finished work of our Redeemer, sin,
sickness, poverty, oppression and death could no longer perpetuate and survive within
this Vessel.
Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever. The Holy Spirit hasn't
changed either. His duty is to reveal Covenant, along with the essence and
nature of the Sender. He's ready to do just that, right now!
Eternity's Consistency!
"What would one ever do without the Holy Spirit's Presence? Just as those in
the Upper Room awaited the Promise, in revealed anticipation of what would
immediately follow, you, too, have been commissioned and called to have your
being in Him. He remains the Guarantor of full sufficiency and absolute
victory in everything pertaining to life and godliness. How often has it been said
that miracles ceased with the last apostle? When did that office ever become
eliminated? The fivefold ministry of Christ is alive and well, from pastor,
teacher and evangelist, to prophet and apostle, for the perfecting of the
saints and work of the ministry. There was a day and hour, years ago, when the
visibly miraculous was a vital, yet common, part of everyday life. The gifts
and calling of God are without repentance and can never be extracted from the
Church. One might ask, 'Why aren't we witnessing more today...healings,
miracles of provision, protection and promotion, as well as the raising of the
dead?' Let Me satisfy that fair query. Nothing has changed from this Throne's
venue. In fact, the never-ceasing Glory is actively gaining momentum for an
unprecedented outpouring of Heaven's richest content. Gifts haven't waned.
However, love has! Faith works by love, and one can't have the miraculous without
anticipation, since an atmosphere of expectancy is the breeding ground for
miracles. Additionally, in the absence of love, the Father cannot be pleased. If
love never fails, which, of course, is one of the highest truths, why not
stick with the sureness of that promise? The fruit of the Spirit faithfully
triggers associated gifts. Look at how long it has taken the Church to believe
such a lie, concerning the prevalence and present day relevancy of the
miraculous. Desensitization and permitting the complacency of each day to rule lead
to such a costly condition. To the contrary, living in the Word and
practicing My Presence, while maintaining an ear to hear, will quicken all that has
appeared dormant and deceased. Has the Book not related that the Standby,
abiding within, will quicken and make live that which has been revealed during Our
special times together in the Secret Place? You are not alone! Ponder what
your Savior experienced to secure your security, all contained within the
Bride's Covenant of comprehensiveness. There are no failures when one chooses to
walk in the Spirit. A fringe benefit of that posture is not yielding to the
lusts of the flesh, along with hitting that proverbial mark without
interruption. The Word can never be altered. What has proceeded from the Father's lips
contains an Energy and Life of its own. Speak forth that vision. Confess what
has been Divinely displayed within your heart. Faith-filled words dominate
the law of sin and death. From intimacy with Me to a thought, then an act,
followed by a fact, multitudes will be moved by the tangible intangibles, as the
unseen within the Body is birthed in a myriad of ways to relieve and remove
heartaches and pains from the four corners of the earth. Never forget, the
Glory, triggered by My faith, in and through Vessels of Honor, is drawn,
conduited and delivered to those requiring the Great Physician. All of Heaven is at
your disposal. Command ye Me! Don't be stopped and fooled by the doctrines
of men. All must translate and resembled the modeled works of this world's
Redeemer. Heaven's Plumbline will keep you balanced and centered. Salute no man
along the way. Only serve from Heaven's Menu. Multitudes will unceasingly
come!"
