The Overflow!
"So when they met together, they asked him, 'Lord, are you at this time going
to restore the kingdom of Israel?' He said to them, 'It is not for you to
know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will
receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be witnesses in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.'" Acts

"For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your
amazement he will show him even greater things than these. For just as the Father
raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is
pleased to give it." John 5:20-21

"I will sing of the Lord's great love forever; with my mouth I will make your

Have you ever overfilled a drinking glass or other container to the level of
spillage? One freely pours to a certain point, then usually stops, children
excluded. If not careful, the vessel takes on a mind of its own, sending a
tangible, palpable and visible message to the attending individual. "Stop! I've
had enough! There's no more room." Consequently, the law of gravity takes
over, and the surrounding environment becomes drenched by what is being
dispensed.
We all suffer a love deficit. I'm seriously guilty of that shortage. As a
remedy, Jesus was drawn and dispatched to earth for the express purpose of
answering humanity's heartcry for affection. In addition, the Savior's primary
focus of nullifying sin's power and impact upon humanity was satisfied by
redeeming "whosoever will" from the curse of the law, while transforming men,
women and children into His image by the Spirit of Truth.
Plainly stated, the Savior was attracted and moved by pain. A sidenote here.
Never once did He encourage creation to suffer from anything emanating from
Hell's domain. To Him, discomfort was an attention-getter, a resounding
indicator that something was wrong and demanding Glory's remedial. The Father's
words underscored Jesus' every move. "Satan has nothing in you!" Iniquity,
poverty, death and defeat fall into that category. Each moves the Redeemer's
compassion trigger and rapidly yields to the perpetual Life flowing from each
pore of His Body. Such is the case to this very day, in and through the Church.
Nothing has changed, aside from a definitive increase and demand upon the
overflow.
Each person has an itch, a deep longing that can only be satiated by the
hand of God. We've tried everything else, and nothing is apparently working. The
wealthy and famous will readily concur with that premise. From money to sex
and drugs, there continues a quest for more. Within that spectrum lies the
material realm. One can only own so much. Each possession requires space, time
and eventual replacement. That sounds like a losing battle to me. The more
people purchase and own outside of God's will...that of blessing and
distribution (sowing), the greater their enslavement to creditors and a demand for
maintenance and further want. This compulsion again leads to a painfully solid
and thick brick wall. Fortunately, the spiritually minded can venture beyond
that to Glory's Covenant and green pastures.
Temporary dopamine enhancers from the world are not unlike a local
anesthetic. They numb pain for a brief period, but resoundingly fail in the end. Yet,
without taking care of the primary underlying problem, discomfort and malaise
inevitably resurface, thus promoting further discouragement and despair.
Apathy usually tailgates, and reality neutralizes its victim.
Many people, in all sectors of society, declare, "There's nothing wrong
with, or in, my life. I'm fine!" We call these people the "Denial Gang." One
precious pastor, sitting across from me in our Augusta Clinic, once exclaimed,
"We are raising four beautiful blonde daughters. They haven't given us a bit
of trouble. In fact, my wife and I can't complain of a single ripple in our
relationship and walk."
Sharing what was going through my mind at that point wouldn't be too
edifying, aside from an internal retort of, "What planet ejected him? Where did I go
wrong? A day doesn't pass without a washboard of issues and challenges in
this clinician's life."
The Holy Spirit instantly asserted truth. "Paul, one can't have a testimony
without a test, or message unless there has been a mess. My people are only
as good as their respective experiences. You are to be transparent and real,
while comforting others with the comfort wherewith Heaven has succored your
regions of imbalance and oppositional resistance to Covenant."
The Revelator wasn't too critical of my colleague's illusionary declaration.
He merely infused me with further Light and Life through a Heavenly reality
check. In that vein, know this. Former areas of lack, attack, weakness and
desperation, will ultimately become current and future venues of unction and
strength, resoundingly why the Teacher instructed the seemingly helpless to
declare strength!
Heaven is transporting us to a new plateau, one of discovery and recovery.
From there, we're in a marvelous position to be promoted in a Glory to Glory
flow of always having full sufficiency in everything pertaining to Life and
godliness. We must come to an end in ourselves, a locale where a realization is
reached concerning those "old ways," in addition to the senselessness and
fruitlessness associated with the failing arm of flesh.
Furthermore, the Throne Room continues to land home another integral point.
We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but powers and principalities in high
places. That being the case, all that is had its genesis in an unseen
sphere...the Fifth Dimension, where Christ's Bride legally and vitally has Her
being.
People aren't the problem. Satan and hell, our defeated foes, are. Once
Covenant's rights and privileges are unveiled, we present Heaven's cause and case
through the Word, then bear the burdens of the weak, while not pleasing
ourselves and refusing fleshly battles, thus conduiting the miraculous and
vividly displaying before all, that Jesus is indeed Lord!
Satan pursues the message of Heaven's Messenger. Such was the case during
Jesus' walk. His ministry was fraught with potential discouragement and direct
challenge. As soon as a seed was sown, in the form of preaching the Gospel,
casting out devils, healing the sick and raising the dead, hell launched a
counter-attack, in an effort to hinder revelation, joy, peace, testimony,
message and a transference of overflow.
Glory's Dam is poised to release its contents. The Father's hand is on the
wheel. Prepare for an abundance of fulfillment. Dreams, visions, Divine
revelations and hidden plans are positioned to take on flesh.
The Holy Spirit yearns to share more with His Beloved. Let's have ears to
hear!
Beyond The Learning Curve!
"Pack up. Pray up. Pick up. Look up. You're going up! Dedicated Child, have
you ever heard one say, 'Man ultimately rises to the level of his personal
incompetence?' More accurate words could never be spoken. No matter how
naturally and spiritually gifted an individual might be, there is always a peak, or
ultimate limit, to all attributes. Humanity, created in Dad's likeness and
image, was fashioned within the womb without limited potential in Christ.
However, without God and on their own, the 'learning curve' becomes a highway on
which men, women and children naturally travel. Much can be achieved along
that path. However, having reached one's epitome, man readily discovers that
there are more questions than answers. Oh, how frustrating this becomes. So much
astounding accomplishment is achieved, then utter failure and weary trips
back to the drawing board shortly follow. Do you know what's intriguing about
frustration? That emotion often motivates and propels its holder to reach
higher, while seeking answers from the Original Source of revelation. Hear this
well, Questful Enquirer. There is a place by Me where Heaven's Glory satiates
and provides, a level of taking humanity well beyond that 'learning curve' to
the Secret Place of the Most High, where your God cares and shares above
what the Body of Christ is able to ask, imagine or think. The Great I Am is
eager for an invitation and involvement in the everyday affairs of man, to show
him truths and so-called secrets that he knows not of! Don't be cheated by the
norm, that former instructing and conditioning of sensory and soulish
faculties. People literally have been educated beyond their individual and
collective intelligence. What takes the Bride far beyond the learning curve? Walking
in the Spirit and thinking with Her belly, those bowels of compassion, will
propel the Family's spirit into unfathomable levels of insight and
comprehension. Does the Word not encourage Believers to, above all, seek wisdom,
knowledge and understanding? Did Daniel and Joseph, to name a few, do that to a
point of glorifying the Author and Finisher of all faith, and being promoted by
Heaven, as well as those who originally judged and persecuted them? Surely!
Don't render evil for evil, but overcome negativity with Glory's Goodness and
Mercy. If you want to close mouths and 'get even' with Our real foe, be
successful in and through the Covenant, what is done in My Name. Jesus did that at
the tomb and during His ascension, both of which are 'types' of promotional
victories and change for the Bride. Success has many fathers, but failure is
deemed an orphan. Once more, in all ways acknowledge Me, and I will direct
each path, and establish a firm footing upon to highest and most difficult of
terrains. You were made for ignition and overflow!"
