Dad's Heart And Hand!

"Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God (Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval) among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know...." Acts 2:22

"And my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power. That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

"Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the Gospel of Christ." Romans 15:19

"And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following." Mark 16:20

There is so much hunger for the Father. And He seems to be multiplying the loaves and fishes (revelation knowledge and associated manifestations) in these marvelous days of the Spirit. Let's look at two recent reports from our Vermont Miracle Rally.

"It was awesome, with Gold dust all over the various floors and chairs! In addition, green, blue and red flakes attached themselves to people's clothing and hair. Carrie (from another area) entered the service as a skeptic. But after watching droplets of oil manifesting on a metal chair, she was sold, exclaiming, 'God, I'm convinced!' A circle of oil was found on a pad where the video camera was located. A number of people, including children, had their faces literally transformed by the particles into golden hues. Many received Gold and Silver fillings, imprinted (Gold) crosses in their teeth. The previously mentioned 'skeptic' discovered what she believed to be a small diamond. While holding it in her hand, the gem seemed to get larger in size, changing from a milky white to clear crystal. Pastor Roger Couture, of Trinity Assembly of God, Hyde Park, received four Gold fillings. Physical healings abounded!"

The following is another observation.

"The meetings with Dr. Gervais were awesome! God manifested Himself in many ways. I didn't even move to the front for prayer. However, Gold formed on four of my teeth. A molar is now adorning an etched (Gold) cross. After the Sunday afternoon service, I went home and found more (Gold) fillings on the other side of my mouth...top and bottom. Gold, green, red and blue particles were all over the floor, chairs and those present. Husband John did get a picture of the gem that Carrie discovered. It was a milky color when she first picked it up, then turned clear with green reflections, as you would see in a diamond. Reports of God's miraculous continue to be forwarded. Yolanda had a tooth that was completely dead and black in the front. Her dentist planned to extract it. Dr. Gervais prayed that the nerve would be replaced. After being overcome by the Holy Spirit, she touched the surface with a pen. Feeling had been restored! Later, color returned (white)! Debbie, Newport, Vermont, received Silver fillings. Rev. Lisa St. Marie, Newport Church of God, was glued to the floor during the entire service and could not get up. Rev. Marjorie Couture, Trinity Assembly of God, was also miraculously given Gold fillings. All of those manifestations tell me one thing. My Heavenly Father loves His Children and wants to bless them. This is only one way for Him to show that affection. He has so much more! We sing about streets of Gold, and He sends a little down from Heaven...one of Dad's kisses. Don't shy away from anything God wants to do for the Bride in bringing Her closer to the Throne Room. Whether it's healing, prosperity or raining down Gold dust...the gifts are all from the Father. When Carrie was skeptical about the outpouring, the Lord revealed Himself to her in a different way. She saw what looked like a drop of water on a metal chair. As the girl stood there and looked at it, another (drop) appeared, and then another, and another, until Carrie realized it was not water at all, but oil! This young lady promised to never question Him again. After that encounter, she found the gem. Jesus said that signs and wonders would follow the preaching of His Word, which is what happens in Paul Gervais' ministry. Never limit what He wants to do. I personally yearn to get wet all over. Just fill me, Lord, to overflowing!"

Contemplate that occasion when a trip was planned to perhaps a previously unvisited location. Most prudent individuals pull out a map and jot down routings, not wanting to get lost. On the way to your destination (destiny), signs are meticulously depended upon and followed. Without them, who knows where we might end up?

Occasionally, within the Body of Christ, it's voiced, "Well, I don't want to follow signs and wonders (destiny indicators). Seeking Jesus is more important."

There's a whole lot of validity to that declaration. Most intelligent Christians would absolutely agree. But the premise still has a flip side. Without them (signs and wonders) confirming the Word, the Gospel of Jesus Christ cannot be fully preached. Neither can there be a remote comprehension of the Creator's limitless love. The Father wants to be more than a historical figure in our lives. His heartcry is for us to enjoy a vital, loving relationship with Him, while convincing this world that He can well take care of His Kids. It's an affection that keeps on giving, originally expressed and demonstrated to the max when He sent His only begotten Son. In light of that, no good thing will be withheld in these unprecedented days of the Spirit.

As I travel this nation, my observation and major concern revolve around a lack of manifestation in the Church, accompanied by apathy, depression, despair, an open admission that the Father is not personally known. Many are strangers from the Covenant of Promise. The Great Commission seems distantly admired, but not personally experienced. It's a fact. Satan's works can be witnessed on any given street or major television network. Somehow, even the Believer, desensitized to negativity, helplessly anticipates that skunk's endeavors of stealing, killing and destroying...his signs and wonders, if you will, while standing idly by, allowing those senseless acts of hatred to plunder humanity.

The Word clearly states that we are to judge, and know, by the fruits of any given work, including the Vessels through whom the miraculous manifests. I love what the Holy Spirit recently revealed about the matter..."When you have the Father's heart, His hand automatically follows! And Paul, signs point to destiny...a destination, that Throne Room intimacy with the Creator. Those little love letters from Heaven are God's gifts to the Bride. His affection consistently places a demand on itself for expression. And He is both, actually...love and action."

Again, signs and wonders lead to the Sender. Papa knows exactly what turns us on, how to blow those socks off. And, thank the Lord, He isn't fearful of linking works with His faith. God also expects that of the Kids and doesn't maintain a double standard. As Smith Wigglesworth once declared, "I am only satisfied with my dissatisfaction!" The time has arrived for the Church to feel the same way, seek the General's heart and recognize there's much, much more to the Contract and Commission.

In the great Miracle Services, I see the faces of people, young and old alike, who have been touched by the Glory. They are never the same after their encounters with Papa, and seem to be drawn richly closer to Him in the process. Subsequent laughing, hugging and tears of joy clearly exclaim..."He really and truly does care about me!"

It's My Party!

"Behold, the hour has come for Me to address all controversy concerning signs and wonders. Nothing has been more lacking in the Body of Christ than a confirmation of the Word through the miraculous. Instead, articulations of men's wisdom and their varied perceptions of the Covenant have muddied the Waters, promoting untold confusion in ears of the hearer, consequently portraying Dad as weak, uncaring and subservient to Satan. While an insatiable, unmet hunger and thirst have taken their toll in a costly falling away, some have stood by in jealousy and criticism, preventing a grieved Spirit from expressing and manifesting the heart of a Father Who remains predisposed to show favor toward his Children. You aren't responsible for those wonderful gifts. I am! That decision is always rendered here, in the Throne Room, where all is envisioned, planned and initiated. In the Creator's Mind, there exists no doubt or fear whatsoever, especially when granting the good and perfect (gifts). The Family operates at different levels of understanding (Light) and Life. No two Members are the same. Picture a natural Dad with his infant. That little one is far from being able to feed, change, bathe and fend for himself. Performance is out of the question. The relationship with parents appears quite one-sided. Who cares? Love is unconditional! Nothing affords a parent more joy than to nurture and serve that precious, yet helpless, form. Then occasions of gifting are in order...providing even more opportunity and ecstasy in that lopsided relationship. The provider's heart is being followed and obeyed! At a certain point in a child's maturity process and walk, a realization surfaces...'Papa, or Mama, loves me, in so many ways!' Such is the case with the Dad of all Daddies. Whoever has God's heart possesses His hand, as well. That's just the way it is. Again, I am not worried about signs and wonders causing a drifting from the Originator. Most follow the fragrance of carefully prepared delicacies. Miracles are Heaven's dinner bell, drawing multitudes, like a magnet, into the lap of Jehovah. Maintain a vertical orientation. Avoid men's grandiose plans, which are destined for certain failure. I have only begun to rain down the unpredictable and unparalleled. Focus on speaking the Word. In the meantime, let Me be God. Together, We will turn this world upside down with Heaven's contents."

Spiritual Cancer Removed!

"The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. But I am present with a more abundant Life, that which proceeds from the Father's bowels of compassion and heart of love. Remember Jesus' yet-to-be answered prayer of oneness for the Bride? What is cancer, but a mutated rebellion of cells, an internal decision to take a different stand and travel in an independent direction, away from a flow of unity and wellness. Mark this certain word of prophecy! Satan would like nothing more than to promote destruction within the Body of Christ, a spiritual cancer of pride, jealously and anger, if you will, in an effort to abort My latter day plan and fulfillment of the Master's plea. In simple terms, there has been a move afoot for centuries, embracing deterioration and erosion from within the Church (Body)...critical spirits, envy, pride, dissension, a refusal to lay down one's life and prefer the another. A single Cell who determines to depart from the full counsel of God can promote untold damage. Living is about dying! The latter must be experienced before the former. Now, let me give you some awesome news. I (We) will never, ever be stopped again, under any circumstance! The Lord is your vindication and defense. Salute no man, or contrary philosophy, along the way. Maintain a single eye of faith. The party (plan) is Mine! You are invited. Accept Heaven's invitation. And have fun!"
